Giselle liked plants.

Plants supposedly did things. Good things. And they made for scenic landscapes. On a historical level though, the largest role plants played was when they were absent. the Dust Bowl, the Irish Potato Famine, all of these were in part due to lack of some sort of plant. Other than that though, their starring roles were confined to myths like the Yggdrasil tree. And Giselle wasn't interested much in things that couldn't be proved.

However, she was in the garden anyway. She needed fresh air at some point, and the truth was that she was about as sporty and active as a snail. Once she got into her shell, she was good and stuck. The garden was an okay place for reading though, and so she got her reccommended daily dose of outdoor atmosphere whilst doing what she did best- Reading about history.

They where dead. Alease was taking this all to heart. Two students had died at this school and she did not know how to cope with it. What if they where her close friends? what would happen if they where not the only ones that where going to die. What if... she was going to die too? She wondered just a little freaked out about everything that was being said, she took a deep breathe outside as she headed towards her little bit of garden. Where she had yet to plant any flowers what so ever. However today she had two plants to put down, one rose seed and one snow drop. In memory of her fallen class mates, heck she even used to be in a class with the dead girl. The whole thing made her really... uncomfortable.

She smiled as she looked at her little patch. Maybe some flowers would bloom in it after all. She sighed and closed her eyes in thought trying to calm down her nerves after the shock of this morning.

Giselle heard footsteps and looked up from her book.

The girl was unfamiliar. She had quite a few piercings, and a hairstyle suited to a garden insofar as it put Giselle in mind of onions. She looked to be a little younger than she herself was, but it was hard to tell in high school, and honestly, Giselle cared less about age. It had hardly mattered if one became king at age thirteen or age thirty in history, after all.

The girl looked weepy, probably over the dead classmates, which would probably distract her reading. Giselle wasn't heartless, but neither had she known the students. And there were rumours about fishy business, but considering everything was fishy about the school recently, it was hardly unprecedented. Still, if the students didn't die of disease, Giselle was keeping her guard up. There was historical precedence to suggest that, supernatural or not, something peculiar was going on. And Giselle refused to be sent to an untimely Elba because she wasn't prepared.

The girl smiled and Giselle relaxed. A smile meant she probably wouldn't want to try to talk about her feelings. Feeling more secure, she let out a brief "Good morning," and returned to her book.
