one thing i have noticed recently is the glut of music games coming out this year (GH5, Lego Rock Band, the Beatles Rock Band, Rockband Unplugged on psp, etc.) this has made me think that the industry is trying to hard to make money and inturn is giving us the same thing again and again and again. what do you people think?

i think its really annoying because like .what you said they just keep upgrading the games insted of making new ones or putting new song on gh and stuff like that ...

I agree, after Rock Band 2 came out, I was good for life, especially since they allow so much downloadable songs. All these new ones are pretty much pointless and copying an already overdone idea. Just add new songs for me to play and I'm pretty much content. The instruments are well-done, the gameplay is great, the way it brings people together is perfect, they don't need to be built upon any more.
