((Haha, I made a funny.))  It was a rather lazy afternoon, and Liana found herself playing her favorite game to pass the time. Sitting in the shade of the beech hanger, she stretched out, watching rabbits as they passed in their grazing or play.
As each came and went, she silently appraised them, sometimes with a visible cue to her thoughts. She snerked as a buck passed, finding his coloring distasteful. And that doe's ears were too short. There was one where her tail was too big. And that fur color was all wrong for that eye shade. Didn't there parents even consider how horrifying their offspring would look before breeding? She sighed and sat up, busying herself with cleaning her pristine white paws as she waited for the next victim of her criticism to happen by.

Thyme had just returned to the warren after taking a bit of a wander halfway down to the scrapes. He knew of the dangers that lurked around down there but lately he just didn’t seem to care.
Heading back to the burrows he half noticed all the rabbits out for silflay, but his mind was elsewhere. “Warren’s getting over crowded” he thought aloud to himself as he gazed around at the rabbits, his eyes falling onto one doe in particular. There was something familiar about her, but he was positive they’d never spoken before. After a moment he realised he was staring, quickly looking away and pretending to groom his face and ears.

After a few moments she felt her fur prickle and she looked up to see a buck gazing at her. He turned away and set to preening himself. Grinning slyly, she reached up to grasp one of her ears and pulled it through her paws slowly; smoothing her soft fur. So he was looking, huh? She smiled to herself as she set about stretching, pretending she hadn't noticed his stare while trying to offer him the best view of her.
Laying out delicately in the grass, she licked the fur down her legs gently, her eerily green eyes flitting upwards to look at him every now and again to see if he was still watching.

Thyme glanced back just as the doe had herself spread out on the grass looking back at him. “Great she saw you staring” he told himself, “Smart move!”. Trying to look casual, he slowly began to hop over to her, his nose twitching nervously.
“H-hello… forgive me for staring” he said softly as he approached, “I don’t make a habit of staring at does I promise” he managed a small smile though through his good eye a sadness was still visible to anyone who looked close enough.

It wasn't long before he approached. She grinned to herself, pushing off the ground with her front legs but staying in a lying down position. Playing the soft doe worked every time.
As he came closer, Liana noticed his eye. She tried not to turn away but couldn't help but find it horrible. However, she found the rest of him pleasing. He was a little... mundane. But the black on his face and feet was rather handsome. She couldn't quite tell from this angle, but she was pretty sure his tail was black as well. Simple, but clean and bold. She supposed he wasn't that bad looking, and would've been rather handsome if it wasn't for his scars. She twitched her ears and looked out over the Down, trying to look poetic as she thought on him.
As she glanced over the wide countryside, it dawned on her that he was probably of some stature. There was talks of a farm raid coming up, and perhaps he had earned those scars in one previous? She would be too young to know. Well, if they were heroic, maybe they weren't so bad? Surely even El-ahrairah had scars.
An ear flicked to face him as he came close enough to speak. She turned her head gracefully, slowly, as her eyes came to look on him once more. He seemed somewhat anxious, and she chalked it up to her being so lovely. Of course a buck would be nervous in her presence. She tried not to smile as he apologized. Ah hah! So she was out of the ordinary to him, was she? Must've been, to cause him to stare. She looked at him demurely, giving him the innocent and shy bit.
"Oh? I didn't really notice. Have we met, by chance? I'm Liana."
She tilted her head with a soft smile, acting coy.

Thyme’s smile widened as she spoke, relived that she wasn’t offended by his behaviour. He tilted his head slightly as he looked her over; she really was beautiful, so why had he not seen her before? Also, if he’d never met her before then why was she so familiar to him?
”I don’t believe we’ve met…have we? Oh well, either way it’s lovely to meet you. I’m Thyme… I er, nice day isn’t it? Frith is shining beautifully on the down this afternoon” Thyme hadn’t been this happy in a very long time, and he couldn’t for the life of him figure out why he suddenly felt so cheery.

He smiled beautifully and Liana grinned inwardly. Yes, he would do nicely. Surely she'd be the talk of the other does.
"I am unsure myself. Though, surely I would remember meeting someone so handsome. It is lovely to meet you as well, Thyme. And yes, Frith certainly does have a way of making beauty in the world."
Quiet, she should play it gentle with this one. Instead of winking as would be more fit another buck, she turned her head instead, pretending to look over the Down. She shivered her fur a little, hoping some sunlight would reflect off the white to better illustrate her point.
