Benihime had been walking around just outside the house her mothers lived in and getting used to the land. She had started thinking more about her feeling and why she was so scared. She had gotten to know a few new kits at the little party a few days ago and she kept thinking about Falcon, the male Java that she had spent alot of time with. He was nice and interesting but did she want others...did she want someone to be friends with when she had a hard enough problem talking to anyone about herself. She had started to feel angry at things, though she never showed it. Her outward look never once faltered to show her anger or hate. Fear a little when she was scared but never anything but cute and sweetness. She had taken to slowly killing the things he caught and watching them die. She didn't know why but she liked the blood...it looked so pretty on her white paws. She liked it when she had blood on her but dirt or sap or mud were another matter. She hated getting dirty but she loved blood...she hadn't when she first got out of the house her people had been killed in but now...it was magical! It was she loved the feeling of it and wanted to keep feeling it, to never forget how smooth and warm it felt to the pads of her feet. She blinked and looked up seeing that she was sitting under a tree purring as she swished her tail happily and looked for something to eat.Spicy Marmalade! Now that it's exploded into being, seize hold of this evening's chance.

Falcon often wandered new areas, just to get a feel for them. And though he was used to the alleyways and the concrete labyrinth, he decided to explore the grassier, more natural areas.
If they could be called natural. Traces of humans were everywhere.
Humming softly, Falcon stepped boldly on the human's concrete path, the bastards moving away from him as he strutted around. He knew the humans could easily take him away, could easily get rid of him--but not without a fight.
So, as he stepped past a barrage of trees, he paused at a familiar face--and instantly smiled. It was the gorgeous little kitten from a few days ago, what luck. With his tail held high and curled over the small of his back, Falcon padded his way up to Beni with his usual crooked smile, friendly and in a good mood.
"Hey there, I see you're out by yourself again," he playfully scolded, chuckling, "Good to know at least one cat around here can take care of themselves." The females he'd run into so far were so helpless, it was almost entertaining...but this was a relief in a way. Even if he didn't know her well, Beni seemed like the type that could defend herself in a time of distress. Hopefully. Maybe he sucked at reading people.

Beni looked up as she heard someone come to her and saw that it was Falcon. She smiled softly and looked at him, pretty and fluffy. She liked hte brown, it was different then anyone in her own family's colors. She tilted her head at him and purred. "My mothers wouldn't let me out inless i could so i have been taking care of my self for a while....once i got over my fears of being alone and of dirt...Though i still don't like being dirty." she said with a shrug. "What are you up to? Why are you always alone?" she asked softly as she looked him over. She tried to push the images of bleeding animals out of her mind and just think about talking to a new friend but kept seeing them. "Are you hungry? I think i want some food how about you?" she asked looking around hoping she could kill something soon. She stood and walked around the tree hoping he would follow her. "I wonder whats nearby..." she said thinking about blood and filling her tiny tummy with some yummy food.

"I'm a loner, baby, what can I say," he hummed, stepping after her as she made her way around the tree. Falling in step beside her, Falcon smirked, lightly nudging her with his shoulder.
"Sure, food sounds good," the java said quietly, looking down to her with a c**k of his head. Hunting would get her dirty, didn't she dislike that? Even if she was partially getting over her 'fear of dirt' hunting had blood, and dirt, and probably other such messiness that would be irritating to a cat like her.

Beni looked over him and smiled. "What you want to hunt?" she asked. She shivered a little as he brushed her side and looked down as she took a deep breath. She looked around and snuffed for something to eat. She was looking forward to having blood in her mouth again, and on her feet. She licked her lips and smiled softly, being around Falcon helped make her feel normal...like she didn't need to be scared of the dirt or being dirty. She purred happily and tried to get used to the idea of having someone other then her family touching her.

[Skippin' to after informal with Beni's family and such~]
Was he okay? He didn't know. He was infuriated, but ashamed at the same time. When Beni moved up into the tree beside him, he crossed his arms over his stomach and sighed heavily, not wanting to make eye contact with her just yet.
"I'm sorry," he murmured, frowning as he lifted his bright eyes to meet her own. "She just..made me angry...I didn't like how she was talking to you," it just irked him all around..unsure why, of course, but...how could he not say something to that sort of thing? Plus she seemed so upset about how they spoke to her about him. Maybe he was offended? He wasn't sure.
"Your brother..would your moms really be upset if they met me?" Of course, Fox had said something about dating, but he would leave that out of this conversation for now. It seemed a little too deep for the situation, he figured. But, Falcon did want to say something about it..

Beni looked at him and shook her head. "Its ok. I haven't seen Izzy or Van in so long so she was upset to see me with someone. Please don't be mad at your self. I was very upset with her too. Your my best friend and i don't want her not liking you either. I wasn't happy about them so don't beat yourself up. And my mommy's might press you a little to make sure you ar enice to me and arnt taking advantage of their little princess but they will like you. I know they will. If they want me to come around more often they will have to get used to it." she said as she rubbed against his shoulder. She hoped that her brother saying they were dating hadn't freaked him out cause she didn't want him scared of her...Did she want to date him? She wasn't sure and Fox said to follow her heart...but was that what it was telling her to do?

Giving a small smile at her words--though it was somewhat forced--he lightly nuzzled her head when she touched his shoulder and he sighed. What to do...he had no idea.
Slowly, he brought an arm around her shoulders and nuzzled her ear, really not sure what to say anymore. "I just dont want to lose you," he gave a weak laugh, "And I know family is important...I just grew up without one, so I guess I tend to hold my friends higher than family, even if it's their own..." He shrugged, not sure what exactly he was saying.
Taking in a slow breath, he set his cheek atop Beni's head, mindful of her ears so he didn't end up squishing one or hurting her. "Uhm...what did your brother mean about the...dating thing..?"

Beni smiled at his words. Why did him saying he didn't want to lose her make her all fluttery and happy inside. She laughed a little and rested her head on his chest. "I don't wanna loose you either." She said as she thought about his next question. She didn't know...And wasn't sure how to explain what her brother thought he saw. "Well...my...brother just seemed to think we liked each other. Which is funny right! Hehe!" she said as she turned kinda red. "So he thought we were dating or something..." she said wondering if thats what she wanted. She wouldn't say it. Couldn't say it. Falcon meant alot to her as it was if he didn't like her like that she...she didn't know what would happen if he couldn't be around her cause he didn't like her like that. She looked at him and laughed a little uncomfortably. "Funny right?" she asked nervously.

Lightly petting her arm with his fingers, he kept his head atop her own and sighed against her hair, giving a soft laugh when she tried to pass it off as a joke. "Funny...right," he whispered, patting her lithe arm before looking down to her bit a nervous expression.
he didn't know what to say to it either--Falcon had kind of liked the idea, but Beni...well, she was his best friend, and he liked to keep her around, liked her company and presence.. he didn't want to ruin it by asking her what he wanted to ask.
But he figured he could give it a try...and pass it off as a joke if it went wrong..right?
"Beni.." Falcon sighed, and brought a hand up to run into his own hair, brushing it back and out of his face, "I...think it'd be nice..to date," the java said hesitantly, voice a little shaky with his nervousness. "T-that is, if you want to..."

Beni felt that he was upset when she tried to pass it off as funny that she felt that something was bothering him about the dating thing. She felt her cheeks turn red as he quietly asked if it would be nice to date. She opened her mouth to say something and then closed it. She did...but did she deserve to date Falcon? He was sweet and nice to her. But she felt herself getting darker and darker inside and...was she really good enough for him. "Falcon...am i really what you want? You don't want someone like Belle whos pretty and nice? Who doesn't have issues with things?" she asked nervously. She did want Falcon. She already hated thinking about anyone else taking him from her and him not being there for her anymore...She shuddered at the thought of losing him. She felt her self snuggle into him more and frowned. "I...I don't want to hurt you..." she said softly as she looked up at him from under her long lashes, her eyes sad looking and worried.

Falcon couldn't help but laugh at this, shifting a bit to curl a leg up to his chest, while his other hung off of the branch with little worry. He turned to face her more, arms coming up to wrap around her body and pull her close to himself, nuzzling against her hair.
"Beni, you're gorgeous--and it's not even about outward looks...I like you..a lot.." But he didn't want to try to push her into saying yes, he'd feel so guilty if she was just pressured into it. Pulling his head back, the javanese lifted his hands up to caress her cheeks, stroking along her jaw with his thumbs, "But it's up to you..not me," Falcon murmured quietly, gently setting his forehead against her own as he smiled--actually smiled. Nothing fake, nothing to persuade her...just to comfort her.
he had no fear of what might be inside her, which he did sense--he sensed her darkness, her fear. But he had no reason to run away, he just felt more obligated to try and help.

Beni smiled softly as she listened to him. She smiled and felt her self swell till tears formed in her eyes. She let him pull her close as she thought about it. He liked her alot...and she knew she liked him alot. She felt the tears grow a little more as he rested his forehead on hers and she laughed a little at the brilliant, charming smile that lit up his face. And she knew that he really did like her and didn't want to hurt her. She giggled and smiled as she leaned in and kissed his nose. "I'd like to...very much. If you are ok dealing with me...and you don't like the silly floozy down there who was trying to steal you then i...I would like to date you." She said with a giggle as she wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled him happily. She giggled as the happy tears fell onto his neck and she hugged him.

His smile brightened a bit when she kissed his nose--startled by her tears, but seeing that they weren't bad tears. Carefully, he brought her closer, the leg that had previously been curled to his chest moving to cradle her close to himself.
"I think it's vice versa...you have to deal with me," Falcon chuckled softly, slowly running his fingers through her hair while his free hand gingerly brushed her tears away from her cheeks. Lightly pressing his fingers beneath her chin, the javanese brushed his lips against hers in a quick, and innocent, kiss..just because he wanted to see how it was, really. He'd never been with anyone before, it was a nice feeling.
"I cant believe it, you're even cute when you cry," Falcon teased softly, kissing her forehead in a reassuring manner, and also loosening his hold on her shoulders so he didn't squish her lithe form.

She laughed and pushed him away playfully, feeling silly for crying. "Oh hush i look stupid when i cry!" she said as she wiped off her tears with a little laugh. She was red from the kiss and smiled as she glanced at him before resting her head on his chest as she laughed again she wrapped her arms around his waist and looked up at him. She purred softly and blushed again. "Thanks..." She said softly as she kissed him again softly. It was nice, different then the kiss's her mothers gave her when she would go to bed but...she liked it alot. She purred and snuggled closer into him. She felt warm and safe. She didn't feel any darkness in her and didn't care about blood as long as her Falcon was there.
