Personally I prefer the spelling Faerie but then again that is just me (I find it makes it look prettier).
Faeries are just like you or I except they have a little bit extra if you know what I mean.
Those who don't I means powers. But nothing too extravagant or whatever. Only one special ability per Faerie child.
And then of course there are quite a bit of them that are perfectly normal like you or I (if either of us are truly normal wink ).

Faeries are beautiful. They are my favorite mythological creature. They are graceful. They each have a special power that does something to effect or enviroment. I'm a faerie, shh, dont tell anyone, lol. I'm Madii, the Flame Faerie

They aren't catagorized, fire, water, air and all that is just what their special power is.
Some control the moon, the seasons, the weather, it all depends on their power like I said before.

And whats wrong with Tinkerbell? Haha, the movies were good I guess, you have to remember they were made for little children who are naive and don't have the...brains I guess...to expand their minds just yet.
