Valiant awoke with the first rays of sunlight rolling over and looking over at josh wh0 was curled up around the twins. Two of her children were gone. Panic seized Val's heart as she climbed down the tree, scanning the area when she made out glimpses of silver spots playing in the new fallen leaves.
The mother finger combed her long blond hair and sat at the base of the tree, watching her two lovely daughters romping in the leaves and having a good time. A light fluttering started in her heart, and she couldn't help but smile. Her family was back, they were safe. Every morning she thanked the goddess that she had what she did, because it was all so surreal. she worked quickly, combing and then braiding the long locks before sneaking up on the two kittens. A soft smile kept her features light, but she moved almost silently behind the two girls, ready to pounce on both of them and tickle them.
one... two... three....
She scooped up the two and hugged them to her chest with one arm and tickling their toes with the other.
Saeriel let out a high pitch squeak when she was suddenly airborne, figuring it had to be one of three people that could actually sneak up on her. For fun she struggled anyway shoving at the older cats arms and flailing widely, laughing like mad. Her mother, the sent had finally hit her as she suddenly went dead weight and dropped Vals arm a bit.
Val sat down, licking the top of her daughters heads and purring. "morning princesses"

Trying to keep up with her sister, she panted and jumped after her, tumbling and falling on her face a few times--but she managed to pop right back up and chase her down.
Aliel was getting used to her handicap. She wasn't able to climb trees without help though, that was something she had to work on...and she had started to talk to other members in the territory. She was a sociable little thing, which wasn't always good in a territory of loners she figured. But oh well, she got smiles out of some of them.
The kitten was just about to leap atop her sister when Val came up behind them. As soon as her feet were off of the ground, her tail moved in a helicopter motion and she squealed--then laughed hysterically, flailing and kicking. "Momma stoppit!" She giggled, managing to cling to her sister's neck as she laughed, burying her face into the other kitten's shoulders.

Valiant laughed and snuggled her girls before remembering that the other three were up in the tree sleeping. "How about we go on a extra special trip, that you cant tell your dad or sisters about ok? Im going to take you to the plaza. I have friends there that know how to get the very best milk and fish."
A sly smile crept up as she looked at the two girls. "either that or I can teach you."
Saeriel was basically bouncing up and down by the time Valiant had stopped talking, her gaze shifted to Aliel, almost pleadingly. They almost never got time alone with their mother after Raco had taken a break... she was basically one of the only cats that could handle doing out of town expeditions, and she often had no choice in them. Sae wanted as much time as possible with her mother, even if she liked Youko the most of the adults. "Yes! lets go explore" she grinned, climbing back onto her moms lap which immediately turned into climbing onto her slender shoulders. "lets go mommy!"

Nodding eagerly when they were offered this little exploration of the outside world, she smirked and plopped onto the ground, wanting to walk--but she wasn't sure how long her mother would allow her to, since she still often fell over and had problems keeping herself upright all together.
"Momma when are we going to be able to go out and explore by ourselves?" It's not that she didn't like exploring with her mother or father, it's that she was very...well, she was a loner at times, despite being a social butterfly, and liked to take her time in doing things because of her disability of sorts. Her tail flicked quietly behind her, keeping her on her feet as she stepped beside her mother. Looking up to her sister for a moment, Aliel smiled excitedly, actually quite happy to be doing something special without their sisters. It wasn't often they got time with just two or three of them.

The manx sighed running a hand through her hair and bit her lip nervously. How did you tell your daughters your too afraid to let them go out because you had failed them once before? “Just… when your older baby. For now let your father and I enjoy the illusions that your only ours.”
Val chuckled at her daughter, insisting upon walking by herself. She had to have got the balance issues from Josh… Val herself have agility to her advantage. It was funny watching Aliel walk… so she would allow her to this once.
Saeirel grinned, tugging at her mothers golden hair and winked at her sister. “Told you mum is the best adult around!~”

Smiling at the answer, Aliel waddled alongside her mother and sister, stumbling every now and again but for the most part keeping her balance quite well. She was getting used to it--but not when it came to running.
"Can we go fishing?" She questioned, looking up to her mother and sister, "Or hunting? Or chase squirrels?" She was full of questions and curiosity. It was too nice to just have her mom and sister around to pass up the idea of doing something with just them, something fun and exciting that she could later talk about to her daddy and other sisters. It was her turn to brag about something!

Valiant winked at her daughter bringing a finger to her lips in the hushing motion. “what we are going to do is much more fun than any of that.” She said quietly, a smile playing at the corner of her lips. “I plan to take us to the plaza so we can get a few snacks past the humans. A secret mission of sorts.” Val knew her children would love the idea of a secret mission, because in some ways they were all miniatures of her, well save for oracle and Faye, but her twins were odd to say the least. They weren’t far from the plaza now, the sound of the fountain in the distance calling to them.
Saeriel jumped from her mom and walked alongside Aliel a sly simile plastered onto her features. “we are going on a hunt, a hunt for things already deadddddd!~” she sang a grin taking away from the slightly demented words.

Aliel smiled widely at the idea of a secret mission--that was too fun in her mind. "So--we're doing a mission, like the ANBU?" She'd heard very little about the ANBU but she knew basically what they did. Missions and protected everyone...well, almost everyone.
Maybe that hadn't been the best thing to say.
Oh well.
When her sister plopped down next to her, Aliel giggled and bumped her shoulder into Sae's own, tail flicking about wildly to try and keep herself from falling. She stumbled over herself a little but not too terribly bad, obviously getting used to this odd balance act.

Valiant smiled, shaking her head at her two daughters. "very similar to the Anbu, but a little less dangerous. I mean of course there's danger because the humans, but no one is going to stab us out of no where like what almost happened when I met your father all that time ago." A smile appeared on the woman's features, lighting her up once more. "It was fun, but now I have you guys to take care of as my mission and I think I prefer it." Valiant watched Aliel's struggles, smiling to herself, she was getting better, stronger, hell all of her babies were.
Saeriel, walked along keeping steady for her sister, but when she made out the market place she smiled and pointed, jumping with excitement. "its there its there! What do you want to get first aliel?" Energy was vibrating off of her, excitement building with every step. " Oracle and Faye are going to be soooo jealous."
Val chuckled with amusement at her daughers, it was good to see them so worked up over something. They needed to get out more often.

Padding her way alongside her sister and mother, she smiled at Sae's excitement, which fueled her own, though was unsure of what to do herself.
"I donno'," she looked up to her mom for help on this one, honestly not sure. She'd go where ever those two went, since her ideas seemed to be a bit too dangerous...her mom didn't let her go off and explore by herself all too often because of her 'disability', so she had to savor the time she had out while she could, not that her mom would ban her form wandering every now and again.
That and she was sure that her mom didn't know of a few times that she'd sneaked out on her own..

Oh contrary, Valiant always knew when the girls went off alone, because they weren't really alone. Tucked away were several of the guards on duty reported to her... because they had learned pretty quickly that if something happened to one of her kids on their watch, their balls would be served on a platter to them... along with other unpleasant things.
... but the illusion of privacy was nice. With a purr she ruffled Aliel's hair and looked over to Saeriel, trying to remember what either girl liked the most. Silently she lead the way to a candy shop and looked at the girls arching a eyebrow as if asking if they wanted to go in. "Just remember, your sisters/father must never know."
Saeriel openly gaped. Candy for breakfast... in winter, had she died and gone to some child's paradise? Speechless she looked at Aliel, they could have ANYTHING, only needed to say the word...

Smiling up at her mother when her hair was ruffled, she ran her fingers into her hair and perked her ears, blinking curiously at what was ahead.
As soon as she saw the candy shop her expression brightened. Candy! She loved the sugary substance, even if she knew it was horrible for her, and she took it whenever she could honestly.
"Can we?" Aliel looked up to her mother, eyes wide as her half-tail flicked around eagerly, trying to keep her balance as well as giving off obvious excitement. She was so happy to be out and about with her mother and sister, it was difficult to get time with just them.
