Day 0: Another Story
((AKA, the boss that wasn't. Spoilers ahead.))
This mission appears after completing the game. It is listed below the last story mission; there are no details shown.
Rewards: The reward for completing this mission is the ability to use Dual Wield Roxas in Story Mode. In addition, there are two trial missions (a time trial and a special damage trial) and a multiplayer mission.
Mission: The mission opens with the scene from Kingdom Hearts 2, of Sora and Roxas' confrontation. Where it diverts to the boss battle in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, it opens to the fight again; however, this time, the player is Roxas, not Sora. Roxas is hooded and uses the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades (even in Mission Mode); Sora (in his KH2 clothes) uses the Kingdom Key as his main weapon, and Bond of Flame as his off weapon (see below), and has 25 bars of health.
The battle starts with Sora in his normal clothes. He fights as is typical in KH2, using mainly Keyblade strikes in combos and occaisionally magic from a distance. After the player has knocked off nine bars of health, however, Sora begins to change forms.
First he utilizes Valor form; as in KH2, he uses two Keyblades and can not use magic in this form. However, Roxas can't use magic, either, nor can he use his limit break! (He can use items as usual, except in the special trial mission, where no healing is allowed.) In addition, Sora's physical combos do roughly twice as much damage while in Valor Form.
After three bars of health, Sora switches to Wisdom form, and attacks from long range. While Roxas' magic is unsealed, his standard attacks cannot be used; I hope you packed some damaging magic! After another three bars, Sora changes forms again; however, before he does, he attempts to heal himself for four bars of health, much the same way Xion does in her extended battle.
If Sora heals successfully, he goes into Limit Form. Roxas' is sealed again, but he is able to use his Limit Break. However, Sora can also use his unique Limit Form abilities; the most dangerous of which is most likely the homing Ragnorak (see Xion battle, second form).
After Sora's health has been knocked back to the point it was at when he healed, or if he is prevented from healing, he goes into Master form. Master is slightly faster than the other forms, and physically stronger than normal Sora (although not as much so as Valor form); it can use magic as well. Roxas' Limit Break is sealed during this four bar portion of the battle, but his magic is accessable.
You noticing the pattern yet? When Sora has six bars of health remaining, he switches to Final Form. Final's attacks are extremely powerful; if it had some of Limit's stronger abilities, they would probably kill Roxas in one hit. Thankfully, none of Roxas' abilities are sealed during this part of the fight, so the player can go all out for the penultimate stage in the fight.
When Sora reaches his last bar of HP, he enters one final stage: Antiform. While Sora can't use anything but physical attacks, his strikes are quick and powerful. Roxas' abilities again match Sora's; he cannot use any magic or items, no Limit moves, and his Keyblade disappears. Good luck to any player who gets this far, and manages to defeat the main character of the series.
After the battle, the scenes resume as in KH2FM, except with the removal of Roxas receiving his name (as this is shown in Days' opening). The player thereafter gains a "Duality Unit" which when equipped in a link with the Zero Gear and three ability units, allows the layer to use Dual Wield Roxas in story mode.
