Is that I may will soon be hired as a Security Officer.
I've paid my dues for my Security License and I have orientation on Wednesday and Thursday (10 hours each day, followed by a test at the end of Thursday). Passing that, I will be hired.
It's a step up in pay over The Source and I also left the Source to follow this path. Overall, more interesting job, better pay and much more manageable hours. Seems like a good step.
I also got to name drop since one of my best friends knows the human resources person... So yeah.

Nice. o_o I was considering a security officer back when I first got kicked out of Rutgers University, since it's such a simple job I had thought. >_> But my mom didn't like the idea of me doing that since she says that it could be dangerous.. Eh.. Personally, I like the idea of sitting around and staring at screens all day. >_> As long as I'm getting paid.. And I'm sure I'd have some interesting stories to tell and what not if so, like the types of people I'd see.
....... Especially with Vicki and her interest in n00b watching on Rally and Towns and stuff.. Except it'd be IRL and what not.
But yeah. Congrats on your possible career progress. o_o I need to get myself a job already and get out of my still-shoddy-education college so that I'd at least start doing SOMETHING more meaningful. @_@

First 10 hour day of Orientation done...... 7am to 5pm is tough >.>

Passed my orientation with 110% (literally 95+15) so yeah...
Waiting for my Security License and I will be in a position of authority.
