Staring at the slow-lapping waves of the ocean, Faatina smiled. The tranquility of it all was calming to Tina - at least, until a huge wave of sand splattered her back and she heard rumbles of loud laughter behind her. Slowly, she got up and shook her fur, then turned around to find a few cubs playing some form of the game 'tag' behind her. She smiled kindly at them, then trotted off to get out of their way, knowing staying there would only put her in the danger of more sand.
Settling down again, Faatina had found a perfect spot even nearer to the water, settling her tan paws just inside the incoming water. She smiled at how good the water felt. Even though it wasn't the warmest of days, and the water was always really cool, it always had the same effect on her - it felt good. Stifling a yawn, Tina looked around. Sure, she valued her alone time, but sometimes she just wished she could always have a playmate around for times like these when she felt a little bit lonely.
