THE "Red Death" had long devastated the country. No pestilence had ever been so fatal, or so hideous. Blood was its Avator and its seal — the redness and the horror of blood. There were sharp pains, and sudden dizziness, and then profuse bleeding at the pores, with dissolution. The scarlet stains upon the body and especially upon the face of the victim, were the pest ban which shut him out from the aid and from the sympathy of his fellow-men. And the whole seizure, progress and termination of the disease, were the incidents of half an hour.

Princess Scarlet ((me)) has invited those who are not plagued to her palace for a Mascarade. That is the only safe place for those who are not plagued. The princesses advisor Nymphadora ((XxPerfect_Insanity0o)) is incharge to keep her safe and the guest by checking up on the guards to see if they are keeping the plagued at bay. She also has a couple military personel and officers. The plagued have become zombified and now are infectious. Everything is safe, UNTIL some of the guest become infected by the plague and threaten to destroy the last of the helthy guests. Now that all of England has become infected Princess Scarlet, Nymphadora and the rest of the healthy guest must escape the deadly Palace and go to the U.S where the Plague as yet to reach.

Scarlet decended the stairs and met the people of England that she had invited.

"Welcome all to my marvalous mascarade! Please enjoy yourselfs and I'll see you around."

Star hung back in the crowd, nervous about talking to the other people around her. She glanced around, tightening her grip on the cloak that hung on her shoulders. Taking a sip of the drink in her hand, she glanced up at Princess Scarlet when she began talking. "It would be better if the plague wasn't running around outside.

Scarlet reached the bottom of the stairs and made her way through people. She stopped and turned to the girl that spoke to herself. "I'd have to agree on that, but we shall be safe here. Thank you for enjoying my fine party. I hope you have a pleasnet time here." She smiled at her and took a glass of wine from one of the waiters.
