She was not Eden the wolf, nor Eden the princess, nor Eden the fairy, or any other sort of strong feministic archetype she was used to - no, this time Eden was trying to go ninja.
Specifically, it was because Eden was beginning to wonder if acting out as a dainty female would really help her confidence. After all, royalty and magic and hoity-toity languages were great and all, but in the end she still felt as timid as before pretending. Thus the adolescent came to the conclusion that it was time to try a more . . . masculine approach. Away from her family again - as was likely to happen with more frequency now that she was older - Eden found herself in a pleasant meadow with a light breeze. Snow hadn't yet touched the area, but she could feel achill that made her shiver. Still, a ninja couldn't let any sort of weather, sun or rain or hot or cold or whatever, dissuade her from her mission: capturing the fruit that hung above in a tall tree ten paces ahead.
But of course she couldn't just waltz up and try to grab the fruit. No, Eden had to do it in style. So it came that the teen was now crawling on her belly towards the tree with painstaking slowness, humming a spy theme of her own creation under her breath.

It had been such a boring day, that Aislynne decided she would wonder off. Of course, her mind was ever curious and she wanted to learn everything she could. The small female moved down the path, her eyes glowing a little as she tried to catch the scent of any others.
What was the point of trying to find information if there was no one to get it from?
As she moved, she caught the scent of another, a bit younger than her, and her tail gave a bit of a wag as she trotted forward to look for the other. The moment she caught sight of the femme, she tilted her head and gave a bright grin, moving forward without a second thought.
She could hear the humming, it made her pause in her step and listen with curiousity. Why was she humming?

Movement at the corner of her eye gave Eden reason to pause. Oh no! Had she been spotted? As slow as she could manage the adolescent tilted her head an inch to spy an adult making towards her; had it not been for the stranger's grin, Eden might have suspected that sheh ad accidentally trodded onto someone's territory. "Shhhhhhh," she cautioned in a whisper. "The apple might hear you. See that tree over there? I'm trying to capture one of its fruit as a ninjaspyscoutwolf. Will you help?" Two heads were better than one, and they would need all their smarts possible to outwit the clever apple tree!

The words made her eyes light up and she nodded her head a few times. Aislynne had never had an apple before. Perhaps it would be a real treat, something she could learn even more about with a little effort.
The multicoloured femme lowered herself to the ground near the other, staring up at the apple tree with her tail wagging very slowly. She did everthing she could not to make any noise. She wasn't sure what a ninjapsyscoutwolf was, but it sounded like it was a lot of fun. It had been too long sence she played this way.
"How do we get closer without it running away?" Came a soft whisper, not wanting the tree or the apple itself to hear what she was asking.

"See, the apple is a very bad ruler," Eden explained. "You could say he was rotten to the core." Okay, she couldn't help herself on that joke. "And he made the tree hoist him up to the tallest branch so that he could see from far away and defend himself from wind and rain. He needs to be stopped! So I got sent to retrieve the apple and put an end to his evil rule. D'you wanna liberate the apple tree from its bad apple?" Two in a row! She couldn't help but giggle softly. "It shouldn't be hard. All we have to do is climb the tree all stealthy like and knock it off the branch."

Aislynne's curiousity grew. A bad apple? It sounded terrible.. They really needed to save that poor tree, then! She nodded her head a few times as she stayed low to the ground, listening carefully to all of the information she could take in. "Yes," She finally whispered in response. "I want to liberate the tree from that evil apple." Of course, she was a little naive and believed that the apple was really bad.
"I've never climbed a tree before. Is it hard?" She asked softly as she stared at the female, looking rather curious. Could wolves even climb trees? She supposed she would figure it out eventually.

Eden gave a tiny shrug as if the question's answer didn't matter to her. "I've heard of large cats being able to climb up trees. Why not wolves? Besides, if apples can climb, so can we!" she replied with bright optimism befitting her age and sheltered upbringing. "But again, sneaky sneaky. I'll go from one end of the tree, and you approch it from the other, Miss . . . ?" The adolescent blinked, then giggled once with some embarassment. "Sorry, sorry! I'm Eden, miss." How often she forgot to introduce herself while in the midst of her game!

Aisylnne was more than amused nad having a great time. It was true. Cats could climb. They were better than cats. They should be able to climb. "Aislynne. Just Aislynne." The female whispered to the other, nodding her head.
Eden. That was a pretty name. She nodded her head a few times before glancing to the side. "then do you want me to go to the other side?" Her tone was kept soft, wanting to make sure that their attempt at getting the evil apple and freeing the innocent tree didn't go to waste.
They had a lot of responsibility on their shoulders.
