Alex led her slave up to the door and into the living room. She was smiling at him happily. "SO..... would you like something to eat first or a nice hot bath?"

 Kagen looked surprised,"M'am...it's my job to cook and stuff,"He said softly, watching her. His defenses were up, and he wasn't sure what to think of her, as they stood in her living room.

Alex smiled at him sweetly and shook her head. "No.... right now you need a warm meal and a bath." seh said stubbernly.

Kagen didn't argue with her, though he wanted to. He sighed, and smiled sweetly,"I'm not picky with food, i like just about anything."He said softly.

Alex giggled as she walked into the kitchen. "How about a nice steak?"

He smiled sweetly, as he followed. A steak sounded nice, though that wasn't want he needed. He stopped,"Ma'm...not to sound rude at all, but i'm a vampire...i need blood,"He said softly,"I'll need to go hunt."

Alex froze when he said that. "No one will be hurt thought right?" she asked him as hse walked back up to him. "How bad is your blood lust?"

Kagen looked at her, confused for a moment,"Bloodlust and hunger don't always go hand in hand, and to be honest, i don't normally drink from people. i hunt animals."He explained.

"I just wasnt sure if they fed you or not in that place. If they didnt your hunger could turn into that. And ok you may go into hte woods and hunt" she said smiling as she opened the door.

Kagen bowed respectivally,"Thank you."He said softly. Then he walked towards the door,"And no they didn't feed me, but i have good control over myself, so it shouldn't be an issue unless i'm hurt or dying."He explained to her, then with his inhuman speed disappeared into the woods.

Alex went into the kitchen and made some steaks. She cooked them and set the table. CHeesy potatos, and fresh fruit was added for the food. SHe poured to glasses of soda and waited for him to get back.

Kagen soon returned. His skin looked healthy again, and his eyes were a beautiful mossy green. He stepped into the house, and smiled at her,"Thank you for letting me go."He said softly, as he joined her at the table.

Kagen began to eat on the steak. It tasted delicious. That was one of the few pluses to being a hybrid, you could pretty much eat anything you wanted. He smiled, when he'd gotten a few bites in,"This is delicious, mistress."He said softly.
