So who thinks moving the guild to the GGN really helped/improved the guild? I personally don't think this guild should have ever come to the GGN. But what is already has already happened- is in the past and I can't really change that. Yet I think the GGN stole something from this guild- unity. I really think it did. I mean I haven't caught anyone here the same time I have been here since I returned from Japan that's kind of shocking for the Lanzer Shrine. Maybe because there's so many threads for people to be hanging out in who knows. I miss the old thread and hanging out there and the craziness that would ensue when too many people where on there at once. Specially during those 100 page parties and SPECIALLY at the 1000 page parties. Ah- how I will me those get naked parties so. xp
So what are your opinions? Do you think moving to the GGN was for the best or . . . not?

ClaudiaJade ::nods silently::Maybe we can make it work? I love the shrine too much not to try. I'm not saying we should just pack up and move- I think it's a little too late for that now. I 'm just saying we won't have as much unity- I mean there could be a new member and you would never know if you didn't go to the right threads. See the point? I mean I am trying to make it work but I just see more negative in it than good. But then again that is mostly just with this guild. I mean this guild only has one thing- Lanzer. Unlike a guild that's based off a show/book/movie- you can go into lots of topics about those.

But the thing is, one doesn't need to stick to one single thread here. I've seen people jump from thread to thread constantly. ...And you don't need to do that, either. Just stay in the Hangout thread. That's where most everyone seems to go, anyways.
The old guild was based around Lanzer, and it did just fine. We don't need to make topics dedicated to Lanzer, or anything in particular for that matter. We are here and a part of this guild because we enjoy Gaia. That is the purpose of this guild. It's not to make us a big family or some kind of fangrrl/fanboi cult.
I, myself, greatly enjoy this guild as opposed to the old one. Yes, the old Lanzer Shine brought us all together. It's where we all met. But it was all jumbled. One conversation between two people was mixed in a completely different one. Here, you can surf from topic to topic and not get so confused. xp Or at least I can...
And besides, we don't get millions of posts each day. Most threads have only a few posts added every day. Very easy to keep up on.
...While I realize this is a far cry from the old Shrine, there is a lot to be said for it. Perhaps I'm bias, but I like the GGN a whole lot better.
...End rant. sweatdrop

There are definately some positives and some negatives (nekkid parties whee ). I think some people tend to not stay on as often since we got here and I have no idea why. sweatdrop Once things settle down and we are used to this place we will love it like our old home. The main hangout thread can basically be the old shrine and other threads can be made for certain subjects. We still have the usual regulars and the love is still here. I have noticed that I haven't gotten a chance to speak with Claudia though :S

I really wasn't in the old thread as much, then again I'm sure most people wouldn't say I'm here now since I lurk all the time. I really don't know what to say and often feel as though I'd be interrupting something if I posted. I'm odd that way, I tend to feel as though I need permission to post in other people's threads. It seems to be that my posts are often read over or not seen so I end up feeling ignored. I'm just odd. sweatdrop

I cannot speak on the behalf of my fellow shrine mates, but I'm happy to have you here. If you should happen to see me posting, please, don't be afraid to say 'Hello' and strike up a conversation. Before you know it, you'll be considered one of the regulars. 3nodding

Claudia, I don't get as much chance to be on as I want either and I'm going back to Nova Scotia this weekend so I won't be on at all until I start school again in September confused I'll miss you guys but I won't be on much anymore after that unless I get the net back at home again.
Anemos, dun worry. I consider you a member as much as anyone else and I spent the time to read your autobiography wink In fact I read them all so far. 3nodding
