The shuttle landed lightly in a very wooded area. Dominique unbuckled and stepped out of the ship. She looked around their surroundings and pulled out a small box which contained small disks. She took one of the disks and slipped it behind her ear and said "Early ten-hundreds, French." The disk made a little noise signalling it was done. Dominique didn't feel any different so decided to test the translator out. She turned to Misty and asked her how she was.
"Allo Misty. Comment ca va?" she inquired of her.
Dominique listening to herself realized that she was indeed speaking french. She could still understand the others as they spoke in english however the language seemed slightly foreign to her now. "Cest bon, je suis parle francias!" The others were now staring at her, right english.
"Here everyone take a disk, activate it and slip it behind your ear. It alters your cognition to become french so that you'll naturally speak it and fluently." She noted bemusedly that she also had a natural french accent.
OoC- Don't worry you don't have to write anything in french. Once you activate the disk we'll just assume you're speaking it.

I laughed lightly at the others as I watched them now speeking french and then adjusted my microphone so that I could speak and understand it as well. "Ah", I said finding the right setting- I then turned towards Misty smiling, "Lets be careful, but lets have fun, I've always wanted to know what its like to live in the mideavil times".

After arriving to the medieval age, Misty stood there doubtfounded when she heard everyone speaking in a different language. Shaking her head back and forth she looked at Angel and asked,"Did I miss something and why is everyone speaking a different language?'

I laughed and went over to her side and pointed to her headset, turn it on to translate french--for we are in france. Here, I'll do it.....fo you", I said and pushed a couple buttons and then stood back. There, now you should be able to speak and understand it", I smiled and then laughed because like she, I had not a clue on how to speak French, or understand it.

Katricsy followed her brother, quietly enjoying thinking in French (which was, of course, a very new and interesting experience) and watching everyone else becoming accustomed to the language. She would have asked Katrick what he was doing, but she learned some time ago he tended to finish faster if she left him alone, and she knew the tambourines must have been for her.

Dominique smiled as the group gathered. Their seemed to be a fare amount exctiement over the fact that the group was speaking another language. Grade 11 Science Fair... who'd have thought my invention would become so handy. Translators were a common enough thing now, but the judges had awarded her first place because of the fact that she changed brain waves in order to cause people to not only speak a language but to think in it resulting in authentic accents and better comprehension of commonly used terms in that language that might otherwise sound odd. Dominique was happy she had kept the things around. Finally the box was returned to her and she stowed it into the shuttle. "Right so... I guess it's off to the monestary. Everyone the coordinates have been programmed into your GPSs. If you get seperated from the group for some reason just head for the monestary still and we will all hopefully meet up there. If you can't get there for whatever reason the other crew members GPS locations have also been programmed into yuor so head for the nearest team member."
