instead of the familiar and delicious tuna melt, i chose the "edgy chicken" and it was good at first, but way too spicy for me.
have you made any bad choices lately? what's your favorite kind of food? do you like to take chances on new food? do you prefer to take chances or stick with the familiar?

I always start with a safe meal D: Chicken ceasar salads are good anywhere! Its only after I've eaten at a retaurant a few times and seen what other people ordered that I feel bold enough to try something else. I like safe food.

I've gotten a lot more adventurous over the past couple of years, although I'm still not one of those people who will 'try anything once'. I refuse to touch chicken feet at yum cha! And I'm not very tolerant of chilli, so that limits my options at most Asian restaurants anyway. Not that Asian restaurants are the only ones that use a lot of chilli, it's just that there's mostly Asian restaurants around where I live. xp
Sort of following on from what kitsy said, chicken is pretty much always safe. If I'm eating somewhere cheap, I'll probably stick with a chicken dish of some sort. I generally don't eat anywhere fancy, but if I do get taken to a really nice restaurant, I'm more likely to try something new/different to the usual - because you don't get to do it everyday and you know it will be cooked well.

i have eaten almost everything i can think of
and enjoyed most of it.
i would rather cook for myself than dione out, so at least i know what is in the food.
as the weather cools, i long for hearty spicy dishes like Tex Mex chili and Hoppin' John.
