What a day it was. The sun was shining but cold winds blew past the mare and caused her to shiver with a sigh. She hated the cold. Hated it with a passion but then alot of others loved the cold. What was wrong with them? The ice bit at her nose like a hungry dog and she snorted softly, shaking her head. Cold winds cold air. Must be winter soon which was nothing enjoyable by any mean. Her footsteps were slow and steady like the beat of a drum and her hair slid over her shoulder to halfway lay on her back. Her head rose up to look up at the sky and her dark eyes looked over the dark grey cotton balls in the sky. Just then she remembered looking up at the sky with her parents. They were gone now but that day was a happy day. They had found their new family and they were welcomed with open arms and open minds but once her father opened his rough mouth, it was over. They were discriminated against because of her fathers rough manners. She remembered her mother yelling at the stallion for the actions of ignorance. It didn't start right away with the 'family' it was a slow process. Her father....was a rough stallion. Seeing so many things of death and disease he was just wrong. But that was understandable on her part but not so much on her mother's. She hated her mate with a great hate but never showed it around him. Seemed it was like Macbeth, the two plotting while Lady Macbeth had a hidden agenda. All women had a hidden agenda....did they?
A soft snort left her nose and she lowered her head back down at her hooves as she moved on through the bare area. Nothing but trees around her but she had broken into a clearing. A cold clearing. She should have known better then to go into a clearing like this. Danger. Lions tigers and bears oh my? Her dark eyes peered around for a moment with narrowed eyes, searching for anything that may be there. She never was one to be oblivious to what was going on around her. Some could say she wanted to be followed but that would be out of ignorance. She hated being followed, especially since she was a loner with no herd. No help there if she was to get hurt. But she enjoyed that. Independence. But she was lonely sometimes. The cold wind blew once more and she lowered her head once more, a sigh leaving her lips. But she was always followed by someone. Someone was always around. She knew it but she could never put her finger on what it was or who it was. It was annoying in a sense.

Her silver blue eyes looked up to the sky. It had been a while since she graced the daylight with her presence. Her mate was a night dweller, so she had become accustome to being awake at night. Not to say she didn't like it. Night time was her favorite time. But daylight, and the sun gods and goddesses have their own mystic alure. Her large jeweled wings stretched out and then folded in against her sides, as she ducked her way into the forest. She needed to get out into the nearby field to take off.
Her long tail and mane wafted onto the ground and dragged a bit. THe hair would get stuck on brances, and she did her best to avoid them. It wasn't to long until she made her way out from the forest and into the field. She shook herself off and looked around, it had gotten chilly during the day too... Fall would soon becoming to a close.

A sound brought her out of her mind and she looked around for the figure. But couldn't see anything. Arcadia squinted, looking harder for something around her. She knew it was there. But where? She snorted lightly and rose her head.
"Who is there? I don't have time for games. Show yourself." She called out, her voice echoing across the field. The dark eyes on her light body glared out. She couldn't see anything since the sun was nearly out of the sky, not even casting colors over the land. She was tired and annoyed already. Let's see who ever this was come out and take her sharp tongue and wits.
//Ohseesee: Sorry it's short. I really didn't know what to put. XD//

As Lailah come about, and she caught the voice. She was a bit confused. Has she bothered someone? It would seem as she did. And this was most certainly not her intention. So as she broke free from the forest, her eyes would easy find the one that almost glowed in the field.
"I'm so very sorry my dear. I had no intention of startling, or bothering you, whichever it may have been." Her voice was almost a sweet and sour, worlds flowing off her tongue in its elegant tone. "I was just making my arrival here timing, so I could take flight. Such a thing is impossible in the forest you see..." Lailah's body would seem almot to small for such large wings. She kept her distance from the other mare.
Thats okay XD

The confusion that seemingly passed over the figures face made a small spout of confusion reach Arcadia's own mind. Why was she confused? The dark eyes that the mare held peered at the female that emerged from the trees and she took a step back. Arc was a smaller mare then alot and she wasn't about to look scared but she wasn't about to be killed either. She had learned awhile back that she was too easy to read. But now she was not about to be read. She forced her expression to be blank but her eyes to be weary of the winged mare that stood before her. The words left her tongue made Arc's eyebrow move slightly. She could fly? How she envied her. To fly away from this place and never come back. What joy that would be. But she would never fly and she would never get away. A soft snort left her nose and she turned slightly away.
"Fly as you will." She grumbled, her tone quiet but jealous. She could fly. Arc couldn't. Something she always wanted was to fly and here she was looking like fool in front of something she wanted to be. She had heard an old saying that nearly applied to the situation. The ones that hate you the most are the ones that follow your every step. Was this true or was she just thinking too hard? Probably both.
"Just don't step on the flowers."

Lailah blinked over at her. The mare acted has it Lailah needed her permission to go. But Lailah didn't take it personally. She was the type to let things like that go. She took a few steps put into the field, and she stretched out her large wings. She didn't fly all that often, so her wings would sometimes get a cramped restless feeling in them, if she flew a lot recently. She was careful to avoid the flowers.
She couldn't help but to look over at the mare. "You seem unhappy." She noted. It really wasn't her business, but sometimes the best way to get another to talk, was a statement like that.

The green mare's ears were pulled back at the very presence of the other mare. A flying one at that. As much as she hated the fact that she couldn't fly, this was kinda mainly her field since she rarely saw other horses or herds around the area. But this mare could have just made Arc blow a gasket if she wasn't in such a good mood. She snorted lightly as she heard the wings unfold and she moved away, seemingly muching on the grass. She could hear the mares steps and she was alittle sadden that the mare too the advise and didn't step on the flowers. Oh well...Once the words left Lailah's lips, Arcadia's dark eyes turned towards her and narrowed. "If I am it's none of your busy. So fly fly away creature...." A horse like sneer spread across her lips and she turned away with a flick of her tail.

Lailah's silver eyes browsed the other mare. She was a rather negative one, wasn't sure. She didn't really want to be around one that was so negative. It was bad for ones karma and chi and all that jazz. "Well be like that. I was just trying to have a conversation." She started to flap her wings, and her body lifted from the ground. Her hair billowed in the wind, and the moon light glistened off her jewels.
"You're quite beautiful. You should try and not be so mean." She looked down at the other mare.

Arcadia looked at the other mare as her eye moved over her body and she flickered her tail, a frown on her pale green face. At her words, a whinny of laughter left Arc's lips and she sneered, looking the black female up and down. "A conversation? I bet I'd have a more interesting conversation with a rock then someone of the likes of you." She spit the words out like vile and she turned tail, looking away from the female. Let her say as she shall, she was just a flaunting female as always.
"Beauty is only skin deep as they say." She replied, lowering her head to continue grazing.

Lailah looked down. "As much as it maybe skin deep, there is inner beauty, but your outer beauty seems to be misleading. I'm sorry that I was such a bother to you." Lailah sighed. Well that was that. The mare didn't want her around, and she wasn't going to force it. With a beat of her large wings pulled up into the sky.
(We can end it if you want)
