The silence of the shop in the early morning was overwhelming. It surrounded any of it's half-awake occupants like a large snake. Heavy and deadly - lulling temeos and humans alike, into a drowsy half dead state. For a more nocturnal tem, though, who sleeps during most of the day to get away from the hustle and bustle of an overcrowded household, it's a silent sanctuary.
Sitting on the sill of one of the shop's windows, dim light beginning to pour in from the awakening sun, was Capriolo. His chestnut brown eyes stared after the grass as a lazy, sweeping wind forced it to twitch under it's own dew. Muscles tensed slightly as morning air came from a crack in the window and rippled his fur. Though it wasn't exactly freezing - the memories it gave him from the smell where enough to make him shiver. A sleepy yawn came from his snout, barely able to muster enough force to form a full yawn but as he did, the glass fogged with the mixture of cold and warm.

Clink.
Clink.
Clink.
There she came, down the cobblestone street with blue steel wristlets clicking together with each brisk step. Karo had told her to stop walking in this fashion, but years of walking with her wrists clicking together had permanently damaged her joints. And while she understood it meant for an arthritis-ridden elderhood, she enjoyed for now. For she adored the click of steel on steel.

Not many occupied the shop at this hour, she knew. Karo was usually there, her or Vena, sometimes Sophie, to open the door. To be honest, many would find that the Temeo shop was open 24 hours a day, every day.
It made it a nice cozy stop with a sense of security, it would always be open.

Reaching the display windows, her ears twitched and she slowed her step, looking up to the window to discover a Temeo lounging on the windowsil. One of the antler batch, she noted to herself. Sade recognized the vast majority of the Temeos by their looks, having spent endless hours sorting and filing forms of each and every Temeo that entered the shop and found a home through it.
She stared up at him for a brief moment, realizing herself rude, and entered the shop with a brisk clink of wristlets.

"An early bird, I see," she commented up to Capriolo, closing the door behind herself.
