Leila strolled down the street, a bounce in her steps and her large, puffy tail excitedly whipping back and forth. Kittens! She could not wait for their arrival. All the joys and new adventures they would undoubtedly bring; each and every one of them. Her hand shyly strayed towards her stomach, face flushing red. Then she furiously shook her blond head and continued with her walk, urging her mind to think to the fun that the litter would create.
Still abuzz with the excitement, the Himalayan had decided to step out of the territory and explore the town once more. It had been a while. She needed to reacquaint herself with the area.
A faint buzzing sounding filling her ears, they quivered and Leila curiously followed the sound. The noise formed beats and harmonious notes that echoed out the open door of a dance club. Her ear twitched and she cautiously stepped inside, her gaze carefully observing her surroundings.

Mei felt the need to get out. Being with Ri 24/7 was a good thing… but she did need a bit of time with the girls… but she didn’t really have any girl friends. She bit her cheek lightly, staring at herself in the mirror… she didn’t look horrible but … well the point was, that she didn’t look like a complete bafoon out on the town.
Cautiously she left her room, closing the door behind her softy as to not awaken her love. He was so tired lately… and she had no idea why. Mei made out a soft blond bobbing figure up ahead, seemingly wandering just as she was.
Mei somewhat recognized the girl, but couldn’t quite place it. Really how often did she socialize anyway…
Then the sound of the bass filled her head, made her blood pump and her head get light. It was obviously clear that mei was used to this setting, but the other girl… Mei lunged forward into the crowd grabbing the girls arm.
“H… hello.” She tried to smile, but couldn’t help but worry that she had made a mistake.

Leila uneasily surveyed the club, the booming music and excited voices rendering her deaf to everything else. She liked music and she liked dancing. The Himalayan cat had not a problem with either of the two. However, the blaring music was intimidating her and attempting to traverse through the swaying mass of people was suffocating and beginning to make her feel claustrophobic. Dance clubs were supposed to have a fun, exhilarating atmosphere, but all it was doing to Leila was making her feel increasingly uncomfortable.
Then the blond felt a hand wrap around one of her arms and snapped her head towards the stranger. The first aspect of the woman that caught her eye was the streaks of color in her dark brown hair. It was very pretty and colorful, something that Leila liked at first sight. As she examined the person’s face, it became more and more familiar to her. Had Leila seen her before?
She smiled and tilted her head, unperturbed. “Hello! Have I met you already? I feel like I have.”

Mei observed the young Himilayan with equal uncertainty and scrutiny, trying to place her face...
where had she seen her?!
"Ummm, I think so, but the place completely eludes me." Feeling a bit stupid the Abysinnian let go of the familiar (but not) female and blushed. "I think I need a drink, care to join me?" With a brief gesture to the bar, Mei turned back to look at the girl at her side. "Im Mei by the way... maybe we have run across each other around the university?"
Really. You would think she would figure out with that train of thought that they live isn't he same place... but perhaps Ri was rubbing off on her more then she thought. Ah well. Making her way to the bar Mei ordered milk, just plain milk. Did the body well it did, and left you feeling sooo much better then a white Russian would in the morning.
( I finally realized why its taken so long to get muse for this rp... my last post was a dud XD; )

Leila knew she had seen this cat before. She knew. The only question was where had she seen the feline? Eyes were wide and glimmering with innocent curiosity. Lips softly parted while the Himalayan slowly tilted her head to the side, attempting to rack her brain for any clues as to who this mystery cat was.
She was unaware of the fact that the other woman had relinquished her grasp on Leila’s arm; the blond was far too entranced in trying to remember who this girl was. Who was she? Who was she? Leila wanted to know.
“A drink?” The question shook her out of her deep thinking. “I’d be delighted.” She smiled and stretched out a hand in a friendly shake. “My name’s Leila.” She shook her head at the mention of the university. “I’m afraid I don’t go by the university very often. I tend to hang around the Ruins with Tempo and Ji-Yong.”
She hopped onto a chair and laid her arms on the counter, ordering some soda and sipping from a neon pink straw. Her reply was innocent enough, but would soon prove to be the answer to their questions.

Mei gave the other female a good handshake (not wimpy and certainly not bone crushing) before grinning. "THATS IT. We both live there, just I don't get out much... kinda antisocial. My mate found us the place, apparently he's friends with Tempo so... " She shrugged lightly, enough about her right?
She ordered herself a Shirley temple, and glanced about the crowd. Was tempo or ji here? Body guards something? Wasn't Leila like... the chosen one or something? "They aren't here with you?" how odd... Mei self consciously ruffled her multicolored streaks, taking one last glance around before turning back to the female, actually giving her what little fleeting attention Mei got when she was curious.
((I think after responding to several rp's my mind goes dead for this one XD It shall be first next time.))

Surprisingly, the girl’s handshake was firm, firmer than Leila thought it would be. It wasn’t like her grip was painful, just surprisingly stronger than she predicted. Nothing wrong with that, oh no!
She tilted her head to the side as her ears twitched, carefully listening to her conclusion. Her face was blank for a brief second before her mouth formed a small ‘o’ shape, having now finally put the pieces together. “Oh! Is that so? What a coincidence.” Leila was all smiles now, glad to know that there was a common link between them and that when she recognized Mei she wasn’t crazy (but she was pregnant, so maybe it was explainable . . . ?)
She took an excited sip from her drink, her mouth filling up with the fizzy liquid. “No, they aren’t,” she answered with a shake of her head. The two were indeed protective of her, but the attention made her feel like a princess. Leila smiled, feeling as bubbly as her soda. But for once, they were not around. It had taken quite a bit of effort to do so, but she had done it! “But now it can just be some girl time with the two of us,” she chirped.
