I got this from a friend who got it from a friend on a site called Daily Strength... I thought maybe some of you could relate... I love this poem as it helped me get over my struggles with "IT" as mentioned in the poem... I hope others who have or haven't gone through this can relate... we all have something to get over... ****I did NOT write this!!**** I just wanted to share this as a friend shared it with me!!
One day, after many years,
when the pain you’ve buried deep
grows worse than your fear of the truth,
you'll name IT in a safe place where no one can hear...
“incest” you whisper.
You'll say IT again under your breath, "incest"
No mater how quiet, IT still sticks in your throat,
IT can stop your breath.
You'll try "rape" --
"He raped me."
IT now crushes you – rape, drape, shape
All useless words.
Still, you'll need to say IT,
you'll need to breathe IT.
Perhaps, in time,
you'll add your voice to the others
who are naming IT, the others who are breathing the truth
You'll finally know...
you're not crazy...
keep breathing...
keep naming.
When the internal lies blare
inside your head so loud
you think you'd rather be dead...
keep breathing...
keep naming.
When the ache of your longing
for a different past
brings back your own
deluge of doubt,
keep breathing...
keep naming.
You're not alone. You do know.
Breathe...trust...scream
Breathe...trust...scream
You are not alone... "
Hope this helps if even a little...

That's very intriguing. I like it. I am not going through that though.
