My friend has been randomly asking me for good K-pop dances to learn lately. I kind of want to learn one with him. I have two in mind, but I can't decide which. What do you think APG? Super Junior's Sorry, Sorry or Taegoon's Call Me? Sorry, Sorry looks cooler, but I'm not good at dancing and Call Me looks easier. Hmmm. What do you guys think? Haha... Also, can you dance? biggrin

*blinks* wow, small coincidence. i was just looking up Sorry Sorry earlier because my brother and his friends are trying to come up with some sort of dance routine with a bunch of different dances from videos. looked up SuJu for the fun of it, but i don't think they'd agree to attempt it |D
i think both of them would be worth learning 3nodding even if you're not a great dancer, it wouldn't hurt to give them both a try.
well...depends on your definition of dance sweatdrop i know some normal/common dance moves (and i'm attempting to learn several dances from anime), but i'm no choreographer and i can essentially just follow instructions XD i've never really been interested in dance other than for the fun of it (unlike a couple of my friends), and i have very little interest in pop/hip-hop/music styles that can be danced to. my genre be rock, and that's more head-banging and jumping up and down and whatnot xd

Hmm... I didn't really care at all about dancing until I started listening to K-pop, haha. I've always kind of liked breakdancing, but I never pursued it or anything. I'm also primarily a rock fan, so just bouncing around like an idiot is what I do best biggrin

Never got into Kpop, but those are cool! I think I agree with you, the second one looks a lot easier to learn because it's slower.
As for me, I can actually say, I know how to dance. XD I've taken classes and done shows and gone to all sorts of places for competitions and workshops for like 7 years now, and I've done hiphop, ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, a little bit of breakdancing (enough to earn me bruises the size of countries though) and funky jazz (which is like a hiphop-jazz hybrid with darker themes... I love it).

I just want to say, for starters, that I now want to learn as much as I can about these bands. I LOVE THEIR SONGS OMG!!! *fixes hair and clears throat* Also, I would have to say that Call Me would be easier for you to start with, simply for the fact that it's a bit slower than Sorry, Sorry and that there seem to be fewer dance moves that require to you do a moon walk type move with your feet. Unless you know how to moon walk, it seems both of those may be difficult, especially Sorry, Sorry. I say you should start with something a little simpler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_RPZcSZWJoI am serious about this too. Get at least 10 friends together and try to learn this. I know about 3/4 ths of it and I plan on teaching a bunch of friends at my anime club it. My idea is that we'll dress up as human versions of are fav brawl characters and we'll dance to this at NanDesuKan in Denver, CO either next year or in 2011. It's an awesome idea, right?

Haha, I don't think I could stand to listen to that song enough in all honesty xD Actually last year my friend and I had a bunch of free time, so we learned the Kurutto Mawatte Ikkaiten dance. I have videos from that day, though it's two other people doing it since I was.... I don't know where I was lol. I can kind of moonwalk, but just because the places we usually practice have slippery floors xD Saturn you should listen to those artists biggrin Their songs are really addictive. And I think that Taegoon writes his own music, along with the choreography, so I fell even more in love ._. Also, Sorry Sorry is more impressive when you see the whole group doing it.

saturnwonder I didn't know Harhuhi had a video game!! : O several actually <.< none of them are in the US though, i don't think. the one i mentioned in particular is on the Wii, and basically all you do is wave your Wiimote around in different poses to the music. Wiki saves the day!...sort of. lists the games, but nothing about them. XD Kurutto is a cute dance to do (though i'm more familiar with the Vocaloid Nendoroid version). Sorry Sorry is impressive to watch with the whole band dancing...you tend to get a bit lost though (or at least i do) XD

dark_insanity_13 Sorry Sorry is impressive to watch with the whole band dancing...you tend to get a bit lost though (or at least i do) XD Haha yeah, I always try to watch one member and get really lost ._. They also made this movie, and then a music video with the whole cast dancing to it. That was reeeally impressive. There must have been at least 30 people all in perfect time. The movie was absolutely terrible though xd @Summer: Para para is fun xd I only remember this really easy version from a Panikku song, though.

@Fini: yeah, i try too, but then the video cuts to a close up or someone else and then i get lost again XP the live version is a little easier to follow, but not by much since they cut to another angle almost every 5 seconds. ooo, mass dance ensembles are fun to watch...actually, that reminds me of a One Piece short, Django's Dance Carnival! i had the whole thing memorized and down pat (well, almost the whole thing...i can't do back flips like that crazy grandpa at the end) back in...grade 9? xd so about 5 or 6 years ago? Para para is fun XD but i only know a little...pretty much all i know is Ike Ike and Night of Fire by Hinoi Team and i can't do them well XD
