We managed to catch a few cats this time around...it's interesting how some of them just walk right into our hands at times.
We captured a scottish fold, some kind of hybrid, a Norwegian forest cat and a la perm. One of them seems quite familiar to us, but we cant remember exactly where he came from.
It seems our snares are working well, though. The fold and hybrid were caught in the forest, legs caught in the snares we set just days ago. It seems that they could have scars from where the wire dug into their back legs, but we're unsure of that just yet.
The la perm was donated to us by humans--it seems she was pretty dazed when we got her, so we assume that she was a previous stray that was knocked out to be donated. It seems the locals are intent on getting their money's worth.
The forest cat was rescued from one of our dogs that got loose recently. He was pretty beaten up, but not too worse for ware...as for the dog, however, he needed to be euthanized due to the extent of his injuries. As to how these injuries were caused, we're unsure currently.
The testing will begin shortly. We are very excited about these new cats.
