Manner of dress: Smart shirts and trousers, often with a waistcoat. Carries a swagger stick.

Detailed description: The first thing most people notice about Amelia is her height: at six feet when barefoot she towers over most women, and manages to be taller than many men as well. The next thing people tend to notice is her figure, or lack thereof; she is occasionally mistaken for a feminine young man, much to her amusement. Her hair usually prevents this mistake however, as she habitually wears it up in a bun, a style not favored by many males. Her clothing on the other hand is of a style a man might be seen in although admittedly he would be heading somewhere fancy, whereas she wears suit trousers and a waistcoat as a matter of course. The swagger stick she is seldom without, and an impressive array of pocket watches, add a dash of eccentricity to a woman who would otherwise look rather austere and unapproachable. With rather sharply intelligent grey-blue eyes framed by slim rectangular glasses however, she hardly looks like some rich fruitcake who would be easy to manipulate either.

Weaknesses: Lack of real survival skills, impatient, tends to come off as rather superior

Detailed personality: Amelia is an adventurer, and an explorer!... Provided there is mobile signal and they take cards in any case. Having grown up with everything she could ever want, Amelia is rather spoiled. She isn’t bratty in the least, but she won’t do anything she doesn’t want to, and wrinkles her nose at anything that isn’t of top quality. She is a very bright woman, and has a love of learning equalled by few: any new piece of information that comes her way can expect to be absorbed especially if it pertains to pokemon, her one true love thus far in life. Thanks to her intelligence, broad education, and love of sharing what she knows she can come off as rather superior to many people, and this isn’t an entirely inaccurate perception; she does think a great deal of herself. If she is concentrating however, her upbringing has made her an excellent listener, and good at flattering anyone she wants to like her. Small talk comes naturally to her, as do manners. Lack of manners makes her balk, and bring out her nastier, more acidic side; she can’t stand common behaviour and makes no secret of this fact.

Amelia has a rather dry, sharp sense of humor and enjoys battles of wits immensely. She isn’t used to being truly out matched in the banter department, and anyone who manages to do so can expect her instant respect, and probably a huge crush. So far as romantic attraction goes, gender doesn’t matter to her; brain, heart, and wit are what count. Sadly she has an unfortunate habit of falling for the wrong people: wrong sexuality, already attached, or incompatible personalities despite her attraction; all roadblocks she has run headlong into in the past. Despite all her failures in love Amelia remains a hopeful romantic, looking for her prince or princess to protect, and be protected by, and adventure with. She might need her luxury, she might always be looking for somewhere to charge her laptop or other electronic device, but there are such things as travel powerpacks, large tents, etc, and she makes full use of them. Wherever pokemon go, rare or common, she will be following in her quest to make her favorite kinds her own. She could just buy them with daddy’s credit card, but it just wouldn’t be the same as achieving it herself.
