Greenstrike's white tail wiggled a bit as he stuck his head and shoulders in a burrow. He almost looked stuck, fur and fluff filling every gap entirely. The rabbit could move freely, occasionally peeking out behind him to check on his surroundings. Whether he received negative attention or not, he enjoyed being an obstacle.

Somewhere nearby a strange older buck was sitting with his tattered ear pressed to a flower. He appeared to be listening for something. His eyes were wide as if the flower was telling him a great secret that could never share with anyone; though weather he believed it was actually talking to him or if he was just seeking attention was unclear. Teasel stretched her legs as she made her way out of the burrows. She’d finally managed to sneak out while her daughter Mulberry was asleep. Happy to finally have some time to herself without being clung to all day, Teasel made her way out into Frith’s light, blinking as she gazed around at the rabbits who were out for sil-flay.
It was then that her dark purple eyes fell onto the rear of the brown buck that was sticking out of an entrance at the other end of the burrows. Rolling her eyes, she slowly made her way over to him. Was he stuck or was he just trying to be a nuisance? As she approached him, Teasel cleared her throat, “What are you doing? You know if the Owsla catch you blocking up entrances, they’ll make you sorely regret shoving your rear into the air like that” there was a harshness to her voice, and it was clear she was not in the mood for foolishness like this today.

Greenstrike peeked at the doe, and then rose to his paws to face her. "I'm sorry! One with such a dazzling coat like that doesn't deserve to sit here and wait to enter while I'm making a fool of myself!" He hopped aside and motioned toward the entrance with a warm smile. "Go on then, don't mind me and my tail."
As if forgetting what he was doing there, Greenstrike hopped over the burrow to investigate the odd buck with his ear pressed against the flower. He leaned in and whispered quietly from behind, trying to mimic what a flower might sound like. "Hello dear rabbit. Oh please don't eat me."

Teasel frowned at him, though was quite taken aback by his compliment, “Oh… th-thankyou? I guess… I did not wish to enter the burrow I was merely stating that you shouldn’t block it with your body” her tone was brighter now but there was still a hint of frustration to her voice. She watched him as he hopped away from her and glared slightly. How dare he hop away while she was still talking to him! Slowly she began to follow him, until she recognised the buck he was approaching, “Oh no, not that old fool” she groaned.
Ray smiled and closed his eyes, completely unaware of the buck approaching him from behind. Leaning in closer to the flower, he leapt about three feet off the ground as it supposably spoke to him, “Ah! The wee flower does a speak to me!” he looked startled and his ears sat straight up as he cautiously approached the flower once more, “Usually ye like to speak to me through my mind! Never have I heard ye so clearly before!” Ray was starting to wonder if his old mind was playing tricks on him or if Frith had somehow blessed him with the ability to really speak to plants, “Never fear wee flowers, I’d never eat ye” he’d seemingly missed the brown buck entirely.

Greenstrike chuckled gently, "Oh, thank you!" He peeped in his odd voice, "My name is Gree- Petals! What is your name kind Rabbit?" The brown buck resisted laughing. Noticing Teasel had followed him, he motioned her to join him.

Teasel merely snorted and rolled her eyes. Leaning close to Greenstrike’s ear, she whispered, “You are aware that fooling him isn’t exactly difficult right?”
Ray blinked at the flower, hopping around it slowly to examine it from all angles, “Ah! I am known by many names wee flower! I do believe my marli didth call me Ray though” gently he reached out and prodded the flower with a paw, leaning forward to sniff at it delicately as it swayed in the breeze.

The brown buck winked at Teasel and whispered, "It's not the challenge that makes it fun. Ah, but perhaps its a game for a fool just like me." He turned back to the nutty rabbit just as he prodded the flower.
"Ouch!" Greenstrike peeped. "Ahhh!" The gentle 'scream' faded with the breeze, and Greenstrike stifled another laugh. "I-I'm wounded now... I'm afraid I won't live much longer." The rabbit casually pretended to nibble the grass as his charade continued.

Teasel frowned, glancing first at Ray then back at Greenstrike. Why were bucks so stupid? It made her fur bristle in a cat-like fashion as she sat up and began to clean her ears slowly, now thoroughly bored with the strange bucks and their game.
Ray’s ears fell back and he looked extremely distraught, “Ah! I’m so sorry wee flower!” he ran his paws down his face in a worried fashion, ”You mustn’t die! We just met! I’ll be terribly gloomy if ye are to be taken by the black rabbit so soon… or… black erm flower?” He hopped closer glancing around him quickly before leaning in close to the flower to whisper “What can’I do to make your last moments more pleasant? Sing ye a song?”
