History: Borne of a brownrider, who apparently could not keep it in his pants, Vorhtas was immediately bundled up and handed off to a foster mother as soon as he was born. In his eyes, he does not consider THAT man as his father. His only family, until recently, had been his foster mother and father. He had only learned of his half-brother, the bronze rider C'zha. They share the same father, that same, virile man. Perhaps that is where most of Vorhtas' personality stems from. But that is besides the point.

Vorhtas grew up in the Weyr, never knowing, or wanting to know, any of his biological family. His foster family provided well for him; he never wanted for anything.His life was rather uneventful. He did not go off for any craft training, insisting to his parents that he would become a dragonrider. they allowed it, knowing how strong the desire to eb a rider was. They assumed it a phase, and always kept the idea of sending him off to some Crafthall in the backs of their minds. But Vorhtas was Searched, three turns ago. He has stood several times but has not Impressed. YET.

Also, upon being Searched, Vorhtas' older brother reached out and made contact. They began to slowly build a relationship, which is now a considerably solid friendship.

Appearance: Vorhtas has shaggy, wavy red hair that comes down to just past his ears and just barely hides his round, bright, grey-blue eyes. He gets annoyed at people who are always telling him to cut his hair. His 5'10" frame is clad in a warm, slightly tan skin. He enjoys his food but also loves to keep busy which results in him being of an average weight and build.

Personality: Being a typical young man; he IS the greatest thing Pern has ever seen. He thinks himself, handsome, smart, funny, clever and suave- and oh, ladies? No worries! You can thank Faranth, Vorhtas is here! Vorhtas' greatest talent is womanizing. If there was a Hall dedicated to this great art, he may just be Master of it. He likes to picture himself as a great magnet for women, of all ages, ranks, and types.

In reality, he often comes across as crude and perverted. He often says the wrong thing at the wrong time, or tosses up some discolored joke in the middle of a conversation. Vorhtas has not yet curbed this behavior; often after such an inappropriate joke, he'll receive many laughs; rather than laughing at the joke, people are often laughing at the young man, not his humor. He is much like his big brother C'zha in that friendly, can't-be-responsible, all-I-want-to-do-is-have-fun kind of attitude. But, unlike his brother, he does not have a dragon to "keep him in line."
