Gentlemen, I've now got the car home and parked in my garage. I just finished washing it after its 1,200 mile trip. I'm going to get some pictures up in a little bit of the car in the garage, because it's night time right now, but I'll be posting daylight shots in a few days.
All I can say right now is this.
I am stunned by the utter magnificence of this car. It is that good. My god, what a car. I couldn't be happier with it.

Something that I noticed with this car after finally mustering the courage to drive it hard is that the first and second gears are almost impossible to hold down. Is it possible that this car has so much torque, the 285/35/19s aren't wide enough to maintain traction? Looks like some 315s are in my future...

Smooth is Fast. Fast is Smooth.
Congrats on the car, still waiting for the pics. [the vid takes too long to load on my shitty connection sad ] If I where you I'd do a track day or two, or even a performance driving course in that car, I think that'll teach you loads about your new beast in a safe(ish) enviroment.

And have you mucked around with your tyre pressures as yet?

No adjustable suspension, it's firm all the time. I think that's how all Z51 Corvettes are; the adjustable suspension is, if I'm not mistaken, available with the base coupe. I believe it's called the F55 package.

Yeah, try being stuck with 275s as your maximum available option while trying to put down an additional 50 horses. Slap some super sticky wide tires on some new wheels, and keep your stockers for the New York winters.

This car isn't going to see much winter. As much as it pains me not to drive it, as soon as I see the first signs of snow I'll be driving a 2002 Ford Expedition.

You may need to let it squat a bit more to keep the rear wheels planted.

Remember, if you hit a bump while driving, just keep going. Its probably high enough off the ground that a dog or child wont get stuck under it.
