that is a cool poppy, we gots one here too ^ ^ but as for the day thingy, well we call it veteran's day most observe it in some way, I can't say that I did anything special though

And logic sais - you fool, but still XD I want to believe... some would almost call you a hopeless romantic, but seeing as how we ain't talking about love...XD but I still think it kinda of applies still, the gist of it that is me I sometimes think that way too, but then I remember that the sun can still burn you and the darkness gives us that needed reprieve of the light, for to much light can kill XD
