Rilanus's House Living Room Kitchen Master Bedroom Spare Bedrooms Master Bathroom Guest Bathroom (Part of the)Basement ((The rest of the basement consists of dark, crudely carved out halls that twist and turn for nearly two miles away from the house in all directions. There are multiple ways in and out, but it is made so that if one gets lost, there is no telling how long it could be before they're found. If they are found, at least.))

♫~♫ ωɦყ ɘvɘŋ τяყ ... ♫~♫ Leslie had taken a soft nap in the car as they drove from the slave shop. Though she still had the leash on her neck she was happy to be sitting in a more comfortable spot. Her small black wings folded around her arms as she sat in the seat. Slowly her eyelids fluttered open and revealed her blood red eyes. It was recognizable that they were a decent ways away but where? Then, a house appeared in her view through the window and as they slowed to a halt in the driveway she knew this was to be her new home. She stared curiously at the flower boxes beneath the windows, this was nothing like she expected he would have. Did she go with the wrong master?♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫

╣Rilanus Seran╠Rilanus stayed quiet during the ride, allowing Leslie time to rest. She probably wouldn't get another chance to sleep until tomorrow morning. It was already early afternoon, and he was much too excited to sleep the rest of the day, as he normally did. He'd be up all night anyway, and there was no way he'd let the slave sleep during that time. He'd taken a few nights off of work just for this occasion, and he certainly wouldn't waste it by letting her sleep while he was up. As he pulled into the driveway and noticed she was awake, the drow smiled. He sat quietly for a moment, allowing Leslie to look over the oustside of the house. "A scary house for a scary person," he said sarcastically when he felt she'd had enough time, and got out of the car. Walking around to her side, he opened her door, then walked off to the front door of the house. "I'll give you a tour and everything in a moment," he began as he led the way through the small foyer and living room, "but first things come first." Rilanus walked to an out-of-the-way door situated in the hallway, then began leading the way into the basement, waiting for the young demoness at the bottom.

When she walked on she blinked in astonishment, 'Why on earth would he live in a house such as this?' she thought to herself. Black wings flap delicately against her as her blood red optics outlined the small foyer and living room. She noticed him go into a doorway and followed down a flight of stairs in confusion. "Where are we going exactly?" she called before reaching the bottom. When she reached the last step her eyes were filled with curiousity.♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫

╣Rilanus Seran╠"Basement," was all Rilanus said in answer to the question, then continued into the darkness. A few seconds later, the light flickered on, revealing the carefully carved furniture throughout the room, plus an open doorway into more darkness. Walking back toward where Leslie stood, he stopped at a small alcove, in front of which was a pedestal that propped open a small book. "Come look at this, it took me forever to finish the collection." The drow motioned for Leslie to come over, then gestured to the alcove. It contained a large bookshelf, filled with an impressive array of items large and small. There were paintings of many abstract symbols like an eye or a sky with a single cloud, shields, daggers, and many small statues and figurines. "Each of these are a symbol for nearly every god or goddess in existence. Every god or goddess that I've ever heard of, at least." He picked up a medium-sized statue, depicting a unicorn down to the shoulder. "This is for the goddess Mielikki. And this one," he set down the statue and held up a dagger whose handle was a spider's body and the blades its legs, "this one is for Lolth. Most of my people worship her." Next he picked up an ornate cross, setting down the dagger. "I'm sure you know this one; he's about the most famous of the humans' gods, who they ridiculously just call 'God'." Rilanus turned to her again after replacing the cross, looking for her impression of the display of religious diversity.

She did know of him and she thought him to be of blasphemy. Never had this man help her mother out of the hell-hole she was placed in and so she cared nothing for him. Besides, she was partially demon, her father never would have approved of her if she had a liking for that man. "There is so many, how long did it take you to get all of this collected?" she asked turning to face him.♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫

╣Rilanus Seran╠Rilanus felt a bit of pride to see Leslie so interested in his little shrine for all the gods. She was the first person he had shown the finished display to -she was the first person he'd had in his house since it was built- and he was glad that she seemed to like it. "Oh, I'd say a little over a decade," he answered, looking at all the objects himself. "Of course, that's only collecting the items. The collection of knowledge about these deities took over thirty years to amass." The drow gestured to the book on the pedestal. "It's all there, if you ever care to come down here and learn a little. Now..." Next, Rilanus stepped over to Leslie, placing his hands on the demoness's shoulders to lead her to a spot in front of the shrine. When she was in the right spot, he took a place beside her and folded one hand over the other in a gesture of prayer. "Fold your hands like this, close your eyes and bow your head. And don't worry about saying anything until the end, I doubt you can speak my language." The dark elf bowed his own head, keeping his eyes open to make sure that she would do as he told her. She wasn't going to be allowed in his home if she couldn't follow this simple ritual.

'What on earth is he doing, as time passes on I believe I have picked the pick of the litter.' Her mind filled with unanswered questions but she folded her hands like so and closed her eyes as she bowed her head. She was not going to kicked out just yet, besides the leash was still on her.♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫

╣Rilanus Seran╠A satisfied smile crossed the drow's face when she complied easily, and he closed his eyes. He spoke the little prayer quietly, the foreign language rolling off his tongue even more naturally than the English had. "Ulu jala yah nindel xal tlu kyorlin phor uns'aa, Usstan belbau ussta g'rftte. Lu'ol zhah nindel g'rftte a vel'bolen Usstan fay'laph ril farjali klew'ar d'ussta dro, lu'Usstan k'lar ussta khaless wun naubol. Ulu jala yah nindel xal tlu kyorlin phor uns'aa, Usstan ruebuss ussta dro, ussta xan'ss, lu'ussta quortek." Rilanus paused, openinghis eyes to glance at Leslie again. His right hand moved over to brush lightly over her arm, indicating that he wanted her to repeat his next words, "Bel'la dos." He said the words a little slower than the rest of the prayer, so she could repeat them correctly, then motioned again to the open book on the pedestal. "The prayer as well, is in the book, if you want to know what you just agreed to. It's a loose English translation."
((Loose English translation: To any god that may be watching over me, I give my thanks. And it is that thanks by which I savor every precious moment of my life, and I take for granted nothing. I am grateful for the freedom I've been allowed, and for everything that I have. To any god that may be watching over me, I owe my life, my dedication, and my soul. Thank you.))

Suddenly she jumped a little as she felt his touch her arm and she gulped hearing his next words spoken slower than before. 'Does he want me to say that?' she thought to herself. Slowly she began to speak in a soft voice, "Bel'la dos." As he spoke of the prayer being in the book she opened her eyes and looked towards the book. "Oh I see, I'll look at it later mayhaps. But otherwise it's a bit late if I didn't want to agree to it." she said with a soft shrug of the shoulder. "Is there anything else we are to do?" Leslie added.♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫

╣Rilanus Seran╠Rilanus nodded and answered with a chuckle. "Yes, it is a bit late. To be honest, it's really just a thanks, is all. And it's to no god in particular, so if you have a certain religion, it shouldn't really go against it. But this is something I do everyday after coming home, and if we ever go out anywhere, I expect you to follow the ritual as well." He motioned for her to follow him before turning out the light and returning upstairs. "There's nothing else, really. Now I just have to show around so you don't get confused, and let you know a little about what's expected of you." He glanced back at her as he considered where to start the tour. "Am I your first master?" he asked, one finger tapping his lips thoughtfully.

♫~♫ ωɦყ ɘvɘŋ τяყ ... ♫~♫ Leslie's ears twitched as she paid attention to his words. She nodded her head slowly to the idea that after time they came home they must pray, or do whatever kind of ritual they had just done. She slowly followed him up the staircase trying to picture what the rest of his home looked like as she listened when suddenly she was caught off guard by his question. Her blood red eyes glanced up towards him after staring so long at the floor. She truly knew not how to answer that. 'Should I tell him I did, or should I say I didn't?' she thought to herself as she bit her lip watching his finger tap his own. "To be truthful in a way you are, but then again you are not. It's a quite hard to differ truly, but does it matter truly that much, I mean you are my master now why care if I did or didn't have a master beforehand." she said feeling her anger rising. Leslie didn't quite want him to know of her father/master quite yet, and really all she wanted to do was forget him. ♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫

╣Rilanus Seran╠The drow watched her quietly while she considered how to answer. He forced himself to be patient, but Rilanus knew that if he had ever hesitated so much, he would have been punished. He could let it slide for now; she would learn. The calm look twisted into a mild frown as Leslie's answer continued. Two mistakes so soon? She really must be rather new to the world of slavery. "Did you misunderstand me, or are you being stubborn?" he asked curiously, by all appearances perfectly serious. "The question has two possible answers, yes or no. That's it." Scoffing, Rilanus headed back toward the front door, trusting that she would know to follow him. "Did you know that, where I come from, women have all the power?" he asked casually as he gestured throughout the foyer and labeled it as such for her. "Men were so inferior, useful for nothing more than pleasuring women, giving them children, and making war with other women." He showed her the living room again then, before continuing toward the kitchen. "And we were given no breaks. A woman could give any reason for beating us, if we upset them. Hell, they could say our presence annoyed them and beat us. This is the kitchen, by the way." He led her back into the hallway, then into one of the guest bedrooms(the first one in the pictures). "It's rather interesting to think that I'm on the other end of it now. I don't even have to give a reason to beat you. I could take out my bad childhood on you now, and what would be the consequence, except that you'd hate me?" Rilanus stopped and finally turned to face the demoness. "This is the bedroom. Probably it'll be yours, but I don't know. I might let you have the better one. Now," he made his way over to her, offering the smallest of smiles, though it held more warning than warmth. "Would you like to try and answer my question again? I really would like to know if I'm your first."

She bit her lip as she followed after him not speaking a word as he shown each room casually. Thoughts ran through her mind of how she wanted to strangle her father so bad, but she stayed amongst reality. The world in which Rilanus stayed in seemed so stupid, in her life men were the ones whom choose if you lived or died - specifically one man. As the two came to a halt she stared at him as she bit her lip as he spoke of answering the dumb question right this time. "No! You sadly are not my first, but though I consider you my first seeing as the one that kept me before hand was a b*****d that deserves to die. I hope he is still bleeding from when I clawed his skin before he sent me away to the dumb slave shop. HA! The idiot knows nothing about except that I was supposedly his and all he wanted was to use me for his own benefit, I shown him though." she said with narrowed eyes that shown bits of joy in them in what she said. "Now does that answer your question." she said the smirk removing from her lips and her hand going to her hip.♫~♫ ყσµя ∂ɘα∂ τσ ოɘ ... ♫~♫
