First of all, this is a statement that people already know.
The word "song" has been said SOOOOO many times.
Now I have a question for a BIG DW fan.
Can someone get s4 out and check how many times the word "song" is said?
Note: it doesn't matter if it refers to River Song, Ood song, or song song. I just need the word, not the meaning.
Also, what DOES THIS MEAN???
Well, I think of it as a few ways when it comes to DW (maybe something that will happen in the future)
1) River will die (REALLY DIE)
2) 10 will forget something/die (AND I MEAN DIE WITHOUT REGENERATING).
3) 10 will lose something. (don't know what, tho)
Also, another question:
Is there a certain song that makes you think "Doctor Who"?
IT CAN'T BE A TROCK SONG.

The Fixx

Saved by Zero

Maybe, someday
Saved by zero
I'll be more together
stretched by fewer
Thoughts that leave me
Chasing utter
My dreams disown me
Loaded with danger
Maybe I'll win
Saved by Zero
Holding onto
Wends that teach me
I will conquer
Space around me
Maybe I'll win
Saved by zero
Maybe I'll win
Saved by zero

The song above was supposedly actually written about the 5th Doctor episode "Castrovalva".

Kansas

Carry on, Wayward Son
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too high
Though my eyes could see
I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think
I still was a mad man
I can hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man
It surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
No

(Carry on)
You will always remember
(Carry on)
Nothing equals the splendor
Now your life's no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

That one is pure new series, especially 9.

[There are several songs that remind me of DW, specifically the Doctor and Rose. Such as 'Seperate Ways (Worlds Apart)' by Journey - which reminds me specifically of the end of 'Doomsday'.

"Here we stand
World's apart, hearts broken in two
Sleepless nights
Losing ground
I'm reaching for you

Feelin' that it's gone
Can change your mind
If we can't go on
To survive the tide love divides.."

Nickelback's 'I'd Come For You' is also a very Doctor/Rose'ish song.

'No Bravery' By James Blunt has a very dark Doctor feel to it. There's a fanvid on Youtube to it, it's brilliant.]

Supertramp

The Logical Song
When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily,
joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
clinical, intellectual, cynical.

There are times when all the world's asleep,
the questions run too deep
for such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
but please tell me who I am.

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
liberal, fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respecable, presentable, a vegtable!

At night, when all the world's asleep,
the questions run so deep
for such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
but please tell me who I am.

On Gallifrey, getting sent to the Academy, and what a bunch of unfeeling jerks the Time Lords are.....:p
