well today i found out its swine flu....yaaaaaaaaay..... well ever since parrot made that thread about her grape juice ive been craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. the problem? no dang jelly in the house!!!!!! and everyone is too sick to go to the store to get some and the fiance has had to stay late at work everyday so he cant come over to help me out. well thank god today my best friend decided to go to the store and get us some food and milk. well she got my jelly and some crunchy peanut bitter and i just made and ate the largest sandwich th eworld has ever seen
you guys have no idea how much i needed that samich!!!!
still feeling like crap but at least my tummy is full of wonderful grape jelly and crunchy peanut butter, not even swine flu can ruin my need for food
also ive learned that dogs lose all manners when they see peanut butter. bear has never touched human food in her life and never begs or steals food from us. well when i opened up the peanut butter she was trying to steal it! i quickly moved it out of her reach and told her i would fight her for my sandwich scream
but yeah, that was the most exciting part of my day today. im sooooooooo bored and only one side of my nose is clogged so my head feels lopsided. yeah, im not very happy right now. and my god the sneezing will not stop and it hurts.

awww. Poor you. I'm sure you've been told drink lots of fluid and get some rest.
But vitamin D is usually your best bet for getting rid of/ preventing flu. That's why flu is seasonal. Your body produces vit D when you're exposed to sunlight. Winter usually means less exposure so you might not get enough to fend off flu.
Natural sources of vit D include fish oils and certain types of mushrooms. Personally I wouldn't recommend a D suppliment by iself because vitamins and minerals work together at optimal ratios so lots of D without the other elements it needs might not do much good but it;s better than nothing. If you can manage some sunshine without being cold or exposing yourself to others than that's worth trying.
Get better soon and try not to give it to anyone else xd

im trying to get better, ill feel almost all better one day then feel like im about todie the next.
i dont usually get sick with colds and the flu so im not used to feeling like this so to me if probably all feels worse than it is. ive thrown up a few times and my god it hurt, im also going on sneezing fits and my nose keeps leaking and feels raw from me blowing it so often.
and now there is a norestern in my area so i have to keep going outside in the cold rain and unclog the drainage ditch in the backyard. im not having a good week
ive just been a little sack of health problems this month. so far im hating this flu more than the tumors xp

Shanna66 i eat it plain sometimes, its like eating the middle of jelly beans if they have been melting My pancreas just exploded from reading this! You know what is awesome? Frozen cake frosting. My mom never throws anything out and she cooks a lot. If she had frosting left over from a cake she would freeze it until next time she baked. I would occasionally sneak a big ol' spoon full! And by occasionally I mean all the freaking time! rofl
