Maybe it will become a dissertation of some sort. razz

What percentage of women actually do all of the daily things they are supposed to do daily to be healthy/beautiful/age-defying? An exercise regimen, healthy diet, facial care, hair care, vitamins, etc. There's so much it seems that commercials are advertising to stay a health woman that I highly doubt any woman keeps up with all of these things on a daily/weekly basis. AND of the percent who do, I'd love to know what their yearly household income is.

EDIT: Thought of some more: coloring roots, waxing, getting your nails done, plenty of fiber, lotion, facial cream (with SPF), concealer (with SPF), nightly facial regimen... good lord... there's more. Be sure to work those inside thighs ladies.

It's nice to pamper yourself every once in awhile, but women who do this constantly, I believe, burn holes in their pockets and are denying the inevitable. Everyone ages whether they defy that fact or not.

I have no idea if this relates or not. lol

Yeah, it does. It just seems that the things media and health experts tell us is the way to a healthy life is a bit overwhelming. Because things like healthy diet, exercise,SPF lotions and concealer (SPF lotion is suggested to be put on once every 4hrs, so yeah right), nightly facial cleansing for healthy skin, it just seems like an impossible feat when put altogether.

The hair, nails, etc. is more beauty, but that's a main thing in women's lives.

Then what about men?
a little different for men, but basically the same idea.

in reality, none of us is perfect.

I didn't say anything about men. When you do a research project, the goal is to narrow it down as much as possible. If we wanted to take it a step further we could also do the research project with results split up into 'where in the U.S. do they live.' YEAH, I said U.S. only. But I'm not getting into all that s**t.

^-^ lol I think its all ridiculous.

As I am learning from working at a wellness centre. "If you are healthy on the inside, you will be healthy on the outside." & "Our skin is our bodies largest organ."

Main rule: Drink 2L of water a day! {You should also be getting another few litres from your veges- so if you know you ain't eating enough vege then up your water intake... sure it may mean more potty breaks but water is the one thing every single particle in our bodies needs to function at its very best.}

There has even been discussion at work of studies that state that SPF creams actually contain cancer causing agents and that wearing them is probably doing us a lot more harm then we think.
I guess in the end though what it would all come down to is: whether the risk is more or less than what the sun can do to us.

Main rule: Try not to stay out in the sun for too long during the time between 10am - 2pm.

lol I am rambling on and on again...

I've kinda forgotten what my point was...

I stay out of the sun as much as possible because I love being pale. razz I'm not a fan of the beach either. I also don't swim in the pool much because I hate the feel of chlorine on my skin and hair, and I dye my hair purple all the time now so I'm sure chlorine won't be good for it. The last time I was in a pool was maybe 1.5yrs ago.
