Sigeric had been flying around the world. Beating up Shinigami recruits, he'd had a fun time and was now coming to rest, he really needed to open up his Gargantua sometime and walk off back home but in all honesty that didn't seem very interesting.
Being the ghost that he was Sigeric found it much easier to breathe in space, actually it was quite a miracle he was where he was at all. Sigeric was floating in space only a miniscule distance from burning away like nothing, he was really too close to the sun and it wasn't good for his 'health'.
Were Sigeric's eyes playing up on him though or could he sense another presence, out here in space? It seemed like madness!

It wasn’t that it was in space, but Calamar was in fact, not in space.
This was the power of Calamar’s mind. He sending psychic blasts into the sky, for now they were completely harmless but for another person it would seem like he was actually beside them if it exploded nearby. It was like an idea, in a physical form, or more better described; a blank feeling. It would appear to another person as that feeling one gets when standing next to another person, but this was only an illusion. With each explosion it would feel like the other person out in space with Sigeric was moving around with some sort of teleportation and over an unimaginable distance apart from each other.
If he looked out, Sigeric would see small glowing balls harmlessly explode before fading away from nothing. Following where these balls where coming from he would see that they were coming from Earth.
Then… psychic messages started to come from those harmlessly exploding bubbles. They where nothing more than clicks and burbles….

Sigeric heard the clicks and burbles, strange things that they were. It took a few seconds to occur to him that actually you couldn't hear anything in space, when it did he slammed one fist against an open hand. Who was this and why were they, infact how were they sending a message?
Whoever it was they must be powerful to be able to send a message way beyond Earth, they were probably worth taking a look at and so Sigeric set off on his way to reach the Earth once more.
It had taken him a week to reach the Earth and he finally landed inside a forest, with a great thump. He couldn't yet see whoever had been sending the message but surely they were here?
((I timeskipped a week in one fight, this must now be the longest fight ever! Hooray!))

THE TINA DARLING rolled 1 10-sided dice:
2
Total: 2 (1-10)

Remaining on Earth, luckily for Sigeric Calamar had nothing else to do, and had received no new orders from Aizen. So, curiously it simply lurked in a forest, not to far from the Japanese city. However, the forest had started to emit a foul oder which to any warrior would realize that this smell was of dead rotting flesh.
Though to it's delight it found great pleasure in killing off any investigators that would dare enter the forest. Humans where so easy to pick apart, their minds where just as weak as a common animal. Simply crushing their minds with minimal mental aggression or causing their mental state to snap and causing them to kill each other Calamar could be one of the coldest creatures in Las Noches. For it did not enjoy killing, but did it in a way that brought curiosity to itself.
Curiosity carved the personality of Calamar, which was why it craved to see just how little manipulation it took to make a human snap and kill his own comrade let alone his fellow brother or sister. Using such manipulation to use a few as tool, to drag the dead bodies away into a nearby natural spring after it had devoured the brain. Nothing that it consumed was worth even killing these humans for, but what it needed more than the memories and the knowledge each one knew was the spirit that was created after the body had been destroyed. So, two meals in one easy to collect body. One for mind, and one for body. No puns intended...
So, with that the creature was lazily sitting under a large shade tree, in a large meadow. It was late fall so all the trees had fallen, and the large brush had been dried up and cut away. Now all that was left was an empty field. So, patiently waiting for more humans to come along, Calamar sat and waited.
Until...
A smallish meteor fell from the sky, and landed rather softly for how quickly it had come. Reaching out mentally, Calamar attempted to look into the creatures mind. ((OOC: I'll pull out all the stops. Roll a 50 sided dice if if my roll is higher than yours, Calamar knows everything about your character.))

((There's no such thing as a fifty sided dice so I'm doing the 100 dice and dividing the number by two, that okay? To make it fair if I get an odd number I'll round up to the nearest whole number.))
"Nasty smell." Yes that was one nasty smell, usually Sigeric didn't get to smell it because he was long gone by the time it had came but here and now it was strong and very strong, he would've been sick if he couldn't stomach it.
Sigeric could however now feel the spiritual pressure of this, thing. It wasn't too shabby but it certainly wasn't the most huge he'd ever felt, it still seemed interesting though and so Sigeric chased after it. He really did need to ask this guy why he was firing those, whatevers, into space.
He hadn't seen the bodies yet but he knew they were there, whatever this thing was it was vicious too, that'd make it all the more fun to meet. It'd be especially interesting if it suddenly attacked him.

((OOC: The random number should work too, now I should put that instead of dice. In any case, you won the roll.)) It had appeared as though this other being didn't know Calamar was even beside the tree, as he ran within the forest the very curious Flyer simply watched carefully from the lone tree within the empty field. As for the smell, it was something it had gotten used to enjoy especially if it was itself that created it.
Like a tap on the shoulder another ball landed harmlessly on his shoulder and exploded with a slight 'wisp' like sound. Then within the mans head, a deep metallic voice echoed from within, "I'm standing beside the tree." and with that came the image of Calamar standing beside the tree in the empty field. Along with this image and message came the slight manipulation of his sense of direction, pointing him towards Calamar.
Just from the way the man carried himself told Calamar he was an arrancar. Above this, the defaulted knowledge from picking at the mans brain told him both his name and what faction he belonged too.
So, it was obvious this other creature wouldn't find Calamar much of a threat, and even f he did, all Calamar would have to do was state he was within Aizen's military. If like some Arrancar, this Sigeric might attack him simply for play, so preparing for such arrogance it latched firmly onto the hilt of the sword strapped just under its belt.

"Ah so that's where you are!" Sigeric announced happy, he'd found someone new to play with, maybe they could match up to his level because up to this point he had a no loss record, a few of his matches hadn't been concluded but for every other one he had he had won, sure he had only fought a few new recruits and Kenji but that was good enough and Kenji was the Executioner's leader so he could be sure he was relatively powerful.
Sigeric walked slowly towards the tree where Calmar was standing. Was the smell getting stronger? "Ever heard of a wash?" Sigeric poked fun at him from afar, the greatest way of poking fun at someone in Sigeric's opinion.
He was certainly a tall one although a full meter below Sigeric' height. Yes he'd be someone fun to fight, maybe Sigeric would just pass out from the smell during the fight.

Calamar clicked his beak that hid beneath his long and extremely powerful tentacles in an attempt to understand what Sigeric had just said. It wasn’t that it wasn’t understood but simply, the fact that what he said was so simplistic and already known knowledge. Something so primitive to say, ’that’s where you are…’ that Cala began to wonder if there was another meaning behind it. As the stranger continued to walk forward the creature stood up from the tree and simply flexed its shoulders showing that it wasn’t something to be toyed with.
As the man walked forward Calamar looked over to a heap of dead bodies that where currently ready to be taken away. Three drones came limping from the forest line, they where mindless and barely living human shells. It was a test, curiously Calamar was exploring how long a human could last as it bled out through a random section of their body. As the vessels came closer it became apparent that those drones where meant to carry off the rotting bodies.
As Calamar took a few bold steps forward towards the stranger, his bled left it’s sheath and pointed at the man’s face in a blink of an eye. ”You’re close enough.”
The drones then proceeded to pick up the remaining corpses and carried them off into the woods…

Ignoring the sword before him Sigeric kept walking, it'd be bad for someone of his rank to back down to a simple Arrancar, just who did they think they were ordering him around? They needed to know just who Sigeric was and he was going to beat a bit of fear into them, maybe bend their Zanpakto and snap it, just to be an a**.
Sigeric slammed two huge fists together, the mask around his fists making the shockwave even greater although not enough to actually do anything serious. "You seriously got no idea who I am?" Sigeric said with a grin. Then I'll tell you once I've broken that little twig.
Sigeric used his Sonido, a move you wouldn't expect from someone of his bulk and shape and made one strong and quick punch towards Cala's side to knock him away, of course if Cala got knocked away Sigeric would immediately grab Cala's sword and then attempt to snap it in half, Cala had to dodge this to avoid being seriously weakened for the duration of the fight, his Zanpakto would regenerate but not immediately, not unless he had some power over it.

The creature before him, continued his steady stride, although he had been told otherwise. Simply making another click of frustration the creature vanished from view, but although he had temporarily vanished it was easy to tell where this big mammoth was headed, so with a grunt and a shove, Calamar bent his torso back, and stabbed for the monsters arm pit, using it’s free arm to support it’s balance. In a way, Calamar used sinodo but on his torso and remained in place and effectively avoided the beasts first attack.
The metallic voice echoed within Sigeric’s mind, ”You’re an idiot.” clicking again, the flyer vanished from view, using it’s arm, and both legs to kick off away low, making sure to spin the blade so that if Sigeric attempted to grab the blade it would slide off a thumb or his hand completely.
Re-appearing several meters away Calamar stood glaring at Sigeric, it’s head tilted to the side curiously now wanting to know just what rank this Arrancar was, it was obviously not just your common foot soldier, more like an… Espada. Pointing it’s blade at the man again, Cala clicked again before ringing within Sigeric’s mind yet again, ”Which Espada are you?”
This conclusion was made from a simple set of facts. No arrancar, especially apart of Aizen’s army would randomly attack another arrancar, unless they were either trying to gain a rank, or defend it. Now it was obvious Calamar had no interest in the mans rank, or in any of the Espada’s ranks. So, this was an Espada, simply trying to find something challenging to fight, and to keep all others at bay by instilling fear into the underlings/non-espada.

"Espada Ten. How did you guess my fine little friend? How did you guess?" Sigeric said, laughing the insult off with a hoarse, hearty laugh. Suddenly a coughing fit took him and he started spluttering on the floor with his small bleeds. It would seem like the Arrancar had got a good hit on him although the hit he had got was only a scratch on the armpit.
Sigeric got back up, barely breathing from earlier getting something stuck in his throat. "Sorry about that, were you saying something?" Sigeric put one hand in his pocket waiting for the Arrancar.
Of course Sigeric didn't care much for what Calamar had to say, it was just niceties before the battle which would inevitable come, Calmar seemed to have absolutely no respect for his superiors even pointing swords at them. Even if he hadn't known Sigeric was his superior, to point his sword without even asking a question? He hadn't met a single other Arrancar who was so rude, actually the rest of them seemed to be quite able to hold their swords back for a few seconds.

The creature simply made a gruff snort like sound and the bony eye brow rose slightly in a somewhat shocked state, "Friend?" it repeated the word in question before adding, "It's called common sense number ten." Cala repeated the creatures rank back to him. It had appeared as though Calamar's attack had just grazed the mans pit, but yet he was coughing blood. Again the creature clacked it's beak in curiosity finding this number ten to be very... animated. It was obvious what he was so low on the power pyramid. A slight temptation came over Calamar to challenge this man, but he didn't want the tenth rank, now, if anything he'd fight for first. However, the power structure was formated in a way that number one was protected by all the lower number. And killed off all of Aizen's Espada would most likely frustrate him and decided it'd be best to remain a nobody.
Eyeing Sigeric Calamar noticed the hand slipping from view and within a blink of an eye Calamar vanished from view and re-appeared several meters away. Cala's blade now sheathed and hands folded over it's chest the pyramid headed arrancar simply watched to see what this giant ogre would do next.
It wasn't that Calamar lacked manners or respect for authority, but he honestly didn't see the Espada as a group of special arrancar. They served Aizen just as he did, they where the only ones stupid enough to showcase their power and to boast about said strength. One day a stronger beast would come along and cleave their heads from their shoulders and replace them, or the stronger Shinigami would challenge them and kill them because of their rank. So in response to Sigeric's thought process, Calamar held no real value with the title Espada, and treated all of them as such.

"What? Are not we all friends among the Arrancar?" Sigeric's broad smile growing slowly wider, he looked quite a bit like an overexcited child however unlike and overexcited child, Sigeric was eight foot tall with purple hair, most children were in fact not eight foot tall and usually had hair that wasn't purple.
Calamar was looking confident, very confident. Why the cocky b*****d. Look at him with his arms crossed like that. It didn't enrage Sigeric but gave him a natural disliking for Calamar, people who crossed their arms like that often believed themselves to be at the top, it was up to Sigeric to prove that wrong. More importantly, what was that mask? "Just tell me before I can no longer resist, what lies under that mask?" He couldn't stop himself from voicing his most important thoughts. Sigeric would not exercise restraint just because he might not like what he saw.
"Either way. Do you want to fight or not? You're pretty indecisive with that sword. In out, in out eh? Eh!?" Sigeric said, trying to entice the Arrancar before him into a battle, with petty insults. It seemed to work as the Hollows were a species that would very easily fall to their emotions. Although when reconsidered, Calamar didn't seem like the type to jump into battle just because he was implied to be an idiot.

Quickly the tall creature replied by shaking it's head, "No they are not." Implying that he was not an arrancar. To anybody listening to Calamar they would think that it saw itself above all the others, when in fact it simply seen itself as a hollow, and not a mixture of part Hollow, and part Shinigami. Though most wouldn't know it, but Calamar was never touched by Aizens 'Orb of Distortion' and remained a Vasto Lord class hollow. Thus it's appearance underneath of it's helmet.
Though it served it's purpose well by hiding it's face, the helmet also worked as a distraction making many believe it was a mask when in fact it was nothing more than a mere accessory. Unlike the other Arrancar this one particular creature did now have a mask fragment because it had never been manipulated to have features of a Shinigami, mainly because it had no attributes that could be manipulated as such. Being created as a hollow and never living a life as a plus, made Calamar one of the most diversely existing hollow classed creatures in existence.
In response to his question Calamar rose a hand and pointed at the other hollow, and spoke again with the telepathic powers naturally encrypted into it's powerful and absorbent mind, "What hides beneath this helmet." slowly it's arms folded back over it's chest, "Is the face of a hollow, more than you will ever dream to become."
Turning it's back to the creature Calamar began to walk away towards the forest edge, "Unlike you hollow wannabe hooligans, I do not fight for pleasure, or to simply prove a point." Pausing before it continue it's pace, it finished, "No, we will never fight because there is none to be had." as it strode off towards the woods it's voice became slightly more feint, as if distance made a difference in the creatures telepathic abilities; "Consider this an alliance, simply think of my name and I will be like a shadow, willing to bend to any of your movements, and crush any of your foes." Reaching the forest edge it paused again and looked back, "I am Calamar Sufrimiento, a Vasto Lord; not an Arrancar."

Sigeric took a few seconds with Calamar's logic, he couldn't quite comprehend in what way a Vasto Lorde was so superior to an Arrancar or indeed how a Hollow was. Sigeric always thought of himself as a Hollow rather than how Calamar was suggesting it, that he was in fact not a Hollow. He had a hole and everything wasn't that enough now days to class you as a Hollow?
Well there was one thing Sigeric had learnt about this Vasto Lorde, he was proud, extremely proud but not unreasonable, he had called off a fight and Sigeric could respect that, the Shinigami he had detected had all begun fighting at the slightest hint that he was really desperate to fight them. Sigeric didn't mind a fight but he was hardly the type of Arrancar who enjoyed fighting.
One thing about Calmar was that he certainly kept that air of mystery about him, could he be trusted? That didn't matter, he'd said he'd help out Sigeric anytime he needed help. Sigeric gave the Vasto Lorde a wave to say goodbye and then tapped the air making a Garganta. "Well then hopefully we'll meet again very soon. Bu-bye!" Slowly Sigeric lumbered into Las Noches again, he'd had an interesting few days on Earth and he'd surely be back again.
