,,,, ° BURN`S THIRD OFFICIAL TEKTEK CONTEST »» #Ø3 }}}}--- AND THE WINNERS ARE... ––– Many thanks to all who participated; I hope you had fun!
Because it seems the overwhelming majority of you guys like TekTek contests more than any other contest type, a bigger, better, & more unique new TekTek contest will begin in only a few days, so keep your eyes peeled!.... [ ELYZIA / ELYSIA X :: WINNERS ) ¸¸• *First Place :: St-Arcana!  My Commentary:
It was really tough for me to decide which should win first place, St-Arcana's TekTek or eitta's TekTek right below this. Obviously, both TekTeks kind of hinge on the same Gogh Reed water pose. The reason I eventually decided to make St-Arcana the first place winner is because I decided that ultimately, St-Arcana took a much more difficult route making that Gogh Reed pose work, & although both St-Arcana's & eitta's are pretty much equal on a "visually appealing" level, St-Arcana achieved that effect in a more difficult & more unique-looking way. I remember when I first saw this TekTek, I thought, "Whoa, that might just win this contest" , & low & behold, it did. The way the TekTek is kind of split diagonally via not only the Gogh pose but the blue & the red achieves an effect that can only be described as "somewhat genius"...
Second Place :: eitta!  My Commentary: ... Speaking of things that are "somewhat genius", eitta/Ermengardie's ability to create TekTek after TekTek after TekTek all tailored not only to perfection but to my personal, unique taste never fails to astound me. Ermengardie [well, eitta now] has been winning stuff in TekTek contests of mine forever it seems; I know she won first place in a TekTek contest I hosted in the Dressing Room forum of Gaia over a year ago. Part of me feels like, "God, Ermengardie, stop winning all my contests & ******** up like normal people for a change!" , but a bigger part of me feels like, "God, Ermengardie, can I adopt you as my little Gaia avatar slave who can do no wrong?" xD Third Place :: x sugarbe x!  My Commentary: Choosing this TekTek to win a prize was probably the easiest decision of this contest. This TekTek is the perfect balance of something that "screams elyzia" & adds a distinct stylist touch of something uniquely them. I feel like at first glance it totally looks like something I'd really like, & it is something I really like.Fourth Place :: LadyKay Knox x!  My Commentary: Ah, my dear friend the wonderful Miss LadyKay! Obviously I have to force myself to judge these contests based solely on the actual avatars & pay absolutely no regard to who made them. That said, I'm obviously pleased to be able to reward yet another one of your superb TekTeks. (For those who don't pay attention, LadyKay is not only one of my best Gaia friends, but also happens to be the only person who has won first place in more than one TekTek contest that I've hosted.)HONORABLE MENTIONS A SPECIAL NOTE TO DEFLOWEREDMIND, LADYRUBYXD, & CHIBICHULA: ] Although none of the many TekTeks you made won an award, I was seriously considering adding a "surprise" seperate prize section rewarding you three with huge prizes for your sheer dedication & persistance & time & effort you put into the contest. Most of the time in life the people who put the most effort into something aren't the people who come out winning; this guild is the one little bit of life that I can actually control, & I wanted, in this particular instance, to make sure that unlike in real life, to reward input as much as output [that is, reward people's effort as much as reward the quality of their TekTeks]. Inylysia's Commentary: I love the combination of blue, black and white, and even though it's pretty simple, I love the overall theme and how the items matched together. The eyes and nose made it really cute! <333 Second Place :: eitta!  Inylysia's Commentary:
The colors matched together really well, making the tektek glittery and stylish at the same time. The bag added a teenage feeling for me, and the GO phones and wings were matched nicely too! <33 Third Place :: elyzia!  Inylysia's Commentary: The balance between yellow, gold and black was great, also with the items together. It was glittery and gave a very sparkly feeling. <333 Fourth Place :: streets of nowhere!  Inylysia's Commentary: The layers were really well-done, along with the balance of the colors throughout the entire tektek. Well, wow, Burn's been a bit lacking in contests recently [sorry, guys, even I have a freakin' real life to live too], & everyone loves TekTek contests, & I love being TekTeked... Put all those factors together & what do you get? This contest, more or less!

Burn's Captain CEO/President.... [ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT CONTEST DEADLINE CHANGE ) ¸¸• *Due to a surprising & admittedly somewhat disappointing lack of contest entries, I feel like it's only appropriate for me to move the contest deadline back a bit. After all, the contest prizes are going to cost me over half a mil, & if I'm going to be throwing gold at tons of people for winning a contest, I want them to have earned it by beating out a decent amount of competition.
That said, this TekTek contest will end on January 1, 2010, instead of Dec. 13th which was the original deadline..... [ BASIC CONTEST INFO ) ¸¸• *This TekTek contest revolves around TekTeking what I've deemed the "Burn Trinity" -- that is, the three head bosses of Burn: elysia x / Kayla [The CEO/President/Founder; or Captain], Oxy / oxylysia x [Executive Vice President & Co-Founder], & Candice / Inylysia x [Senior Vice President & CVO]. I decided since all three of the aforementioned lovely human beings have spent so much time & effort bringing you so many kickass contests that ya'll should make us some avatars just as lovely if not more than we are blaugh
Participants in this contest can chose to TekTek Elysia, Oxy, or Candice... or two of those people, or all three. There's no limit as to how many TekTeks you can submit! Below is all the information you should ever need to know in order to TekTek us to our liking. Be sure to read it so you don't get disqualified!
Each of the three members of "Burn's Trinity" will be the sole judge of all the avatars of themselves submitted to the contest. That means they'll be three first place winners, etc.
