I don't think the symptoms are severe enough to warrant a doctor visit. It will go away eventually.

I think it's just period related, I mean just cause it's never happened before doesn't mean your hormones can't change a bit on you.

I say wait till your period is over and if a few days after that it's still persisting, then be a bit concerned.
