How about dedicating a certain day for a certain guild?
That way you can still be posting actively in all the guilds you've joined.

Hey, I'm in 18 guilds and I remain active in all of them surprisingly.
Whenever one guild is slow, I'll check in on the other ones. Or I dedicate myself to three a day and post in them like crazy.
Look at my post count in this guild! : D

I'm technically in three guilds. This one, a Bleach one (which doesn't seem to be very active or interesting), and the guild for the beta of zOMG! (before the open beta).

It's called Bleach: The 13 Courts Guards of The Soul Society.
They don't really do much from what I can tell. Not all the positions have been filled even.
