Why are people so into hating celebs If they don't even know them
I man poor Miley and other Disney stars getting hated everyday
Only mentally ill people will hate on celebs without knowing them yes im illl
anyways what celeb do you hate the most? and why? (most people don't know why h8ting)

They're in the public eye. They know people are watching. Why not try to be a good example? Or atleast refrain from being a bad one.

I more of hate the celebs that have let fame go to their heads and have turned into jerks about it. My one professor used to know Will Farrell before he ever went to SNL, and she said he was a sweet if not somewhat shy guy. Now, hes supposedly a jerk when hes not working. A lot of celebs have turned out like that, after they make a few movies. Thankfully, my favorite celeb hasn't. Gary Sinise is still nice even after all he has done...

Honestly, it's not really the people that I hate, it's the damn mainstream media for buying into their s**t. Example: I don't know if any of you have heard about this yet, but it's recently been announced that a Twilight TV series is going to be made, and that Robert Pattinson will be paid up to $1.5 million per episode to star in this show.
Let me say it again, so that it can really sink into your brain. Robert Pattinson, who is possibly one of the worst actors that has ever starred in a movie, is going to be paid $1,500,000 for every single episode of the show.
Lord knows there are countless other artists who are very talented and very unknown, and they could be given enough money to last the rest of their lives with the money that this prefabricated star is being paid for 30 minutes of his sorry excuse for acting. Maybe now you see why these celebrities anger us so much.
Of course, one's instinctual reaction would be to despise Pattinson for this, there's really no reason to hate him; he's just taking whatever opportunities come his way. It's not his fault that the media is so retarded. It's the media's fault.
Sorry for bumping an old thread, I just felt like I should give my two cents on the subject.

We live in a capitalistic society of freedom! You are free to make music, and it is your right to be paid for your work! And if someone wants to like your stuff, it is their right! If someone wants to pay that money, it is their right! If a person wants to laud someone as a genius or awesome or the pinnacle of achievement in some field, it is their right!
What difference does it make if my mom thinks I am the best comedian in the world, or that millions of people feel that I am the funniest comedian in the world? I AM PROVIDING A SERVICE OF ENTERTAINMENT, AND PEOPLE ARE CHOOSING TO USE MY PRODUCT.
DO YOU HATE AMERICA? DO YOU HATE FREEDOM? WOULD YOU TAKE AWAY THE RIGHT OF A PERSON TO BECOME FAMOUS?
WOULD YOU TAKE AWAY THEIR INTEGRITY, THEIR ACHIEVEMENT, ON THE GROUNDS THAT THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT, EVEN THOUGH THEY DID THE WORK AND MANY PEOPLE JUST HAPPENED TO ENJOY IT?
Then again, what do I know? (I know that you are terrorists that hate freedom and probably voted should be waterboarded. WHERE IS THE BOMB MOHAMMAD?)

When people become famous, they should know the possibilities. They have a standard to live up to. It's their own fault if they get caught doing stupid things. As for criticism, what makes them any different? We all get judged even though we're not famous. Majority of hatred towards celebrities are their own faults.
