Apparently, some of the monsters had gotten out of the lab, and started causing havoc around the city.

Chen just stared blankly out of the open window she was sitting next to. every single time, it was one boring lecture after another, the scenery never changing. She wished to have an adventure just come from out of nowhere and fall right onto her lap.
And it did.
Monsters, small ones, were spotted, heading for the building. She got up suddenly, drawing attention to herself. Her face seemed like she had saw something scary.
'Okay, what the hell was that!?'

((Sorry I couldn't post until now... Suddenly realized that I had to run and get groceries, not to mention lunch sweatdrop
Anyway, I take it this is to practice human characters. That's cool, except I'm not sure we're ready for that yet. We have a rough outline, but it's really for non-combat roles or for using vehicles and other weapons, which would have their own sets of stats and that you'd likely need to do rolls to determine an ability to pilot and fire. We really have nothing to actually work with for roleplaying handlers yet, and from what I understand Skuld's not really interested in writing that up yet until we get a handle on making monsters work. At least, that's what I was told when I suggested making a human for testing purposes, and was told to make a monster profile instead, which I've been working on--a robotic one, no less.
Basically, we really don't have any game mechanics by which to actually do handlers yet, and when Skuld gets to them they may potentially be very different from what little has been described now.))
