Which is why he had spent all these years down in the real world, exploring places far beyond his domain. But eventually, like always, he had grown bored of it. What possessed him to come back here of places...he just didn't know. Maybe he'd do a quick check-up on his "children," the Hyeetah. See how much trouble they were causing. He hadn't been to the Graveyard in a while either. Then maybe he'd head to the East, across the oceans. Kalahari had heard rumors of powerful, destructive gods living in vast jungles and rainforests. Those were the kind of people he could get along with.
But until then, he'd stick around here for a year or two. It's not like he was in danger of dying. He was immortal. And eventually he'd grow bored of everything on on this acursed planet. Eternity just too long for him to stay entertained. Maybe he'd destroy it, once he was done with it of course. Maybe he could find a new planet. Maybe he could start all over again. No savannah, no Hyeetah, no Sa....Kalahari shook his head with a furious growl. Maybe he shouldn't have come back. Memories, long forgotten and long supressed, were creeping back into his mind, making him bristle. And when Kalahari got mad, the world had to pay. *OOC: I really didn't know what else to call it. X3 You can change the name if you want to. I just needed something to put there so it wasn't just a blank space.

Sahara paced around, sensing Kalahari's approach. It caused her some unease. She hadn't seen nor spoken to the God of Death for a great deal of time. She had been alternating between the Savannah and here, keeping watch over the Hyeetah, whom she felt were her children. She sighed, and stopped pacing. It was silly of her to be so concerned. She didn't know his motives for returned, but she hoped he wouldn't stay long. As she lay down and closed her eyes, she tried to stop herself from being impatient. Impatience was another trait that Kalahari could sometimes bring out in her.

He felt her before he smelled her. The oh-so-familiar stench, filling up his nose with it's foul odor. It sent unpleasant shivers down his spine, made his lips curl back, his ears lay low, his tail lash, his fur bristle. Sahara was near, and Kalahari wasn't feeling very friendly at the moment. how he wish he could turn tail and run, but if he could smell her, then no doubt she could smell him. Running now would make it seem like he was afraid.
Was he afraid? No, Kalahari didn't feel such silly emotions as fear. He was fear. Fear can't be afraid of itself. Squaring his shoulders, Kalahari headed straight towards the source of the scent, red eyes flashing.
When he laid eyes on her, she was exactly as he remembered. Could the same be said about him? He hadn't eaten in decades, and traveling all over Africa had certainly taken its toll on him. But what did he care about her opinion of him? He didn't care. Not one bit. "Sahara....."
He hissed coldly, eyes narrowed in to slits. "Fancy seeing you here. Still babysitting those hyeetah of yours?"
Kalahari snarled. "Aren't you a little old to be playing with toys?"
