A bit back I had a computer issue that would shut down my comp. Weeks later and 2 motherboards, I've been fine.

Now it seems the issue wants to return on this new motherboard. See it shuts down my comp at random intervals. I can't tell if its a virus or what. Before the tech guy said it was my motherboard hence why we got a new one. This is irritating as hell and I franticly write this incase my comp decides to shut down. I'll check back later if anyone has any idea on what the hell could be my problem. Hopefully I'll be able to fix this though...hopefully.

I also write this as a possible note that I may or may not be on often if this turns severe. That is all.

I maked topic on this site too. Hur

Edit: It's odd. All day after this incident, the comps been up and fine like there was no issue. I'd like to still find out what causes this as it may return at any moment. D:

Poltergiest. You best call up one of those ghost hunting shows and have them come to your house and save your computer. Or maybe you could just say a blessing over a 20gallon bucket of water to turn it holy then throw it on your computer. That might get rid of the spirit. Maybe a nice little stabbing of the usb ports with a crucifix would help too.

Good luck, I hope my advice works out for you!

And if none of that works setting the comp on fire wouldnt hurt.

Your advice is always the best but sadly doing all this didn't work. Though my comp is acting 'ok' at the moment, I have no idea when it could happen next or why it even happens. All I know is it acts like someone is mashing the powerbutton constantly. I'd believe ghost if we had other issues around the house though. >>

Could it be your hard drive?

Or it could have to do with the power supply.

Hard drive was supposedly ok when we got everything checked, also powersupply. Though someone else I talked to brought up a good point, maybe the current powersupply is running low on wattage? But if it was like that, my issue would be more consistent.

Ugh~ the main issue is that the shutdowns are none consistent at all. It's RANDOM. D:

Electrical gremlins SUCK.

You *could* grab a spare power supply, and let it run from that for a while to see if the problem goes away...

That, and check the computer's power switch? Not that it would... but mechanical switches can, and do, bork at times. x_x
