===== 1. About the Vehicle =====
The APC was conceived to ferry it's young wards to and from battle safely, as well as provide withering fire support as needed. It is robust, easy to repair and fairly modular. It is also able to be transported by shuttle or dropship after the panels and weapons are folded up or taken inside.
===== 2. History and Background =====
The APC stems from the ancient idea of simply moving troops about without getting them tired or killed. It has two heavy machine guns for it's armaments, and is effective in it's intended roles. The possibility of urban warfare was also kept in mind during it's inception, so various kits exist.

===== 5. Inside the Vehicle =====
The driver sits down and in the front within the driver's pit. Here, the driver has full control of the vehicle, and may even remotely control the turrets if desired. Back and to the left of the driver is the forward gunner's station, where the turret may be manually controlled or electronically controlled. To the right of the forward gunner is the commander's station, which acts much like the driver's station, minus the driving. The commander observes with the sensors and calls out threats, directions and so on, handling intelligence and orders. Behind the forward stations are the twelve seats for troops. Even farther back is the rear gunner's station.
===== 6. Vehicle Systems =====
==== Armored Hull and Hull Integrated Systems ====
The body consists of angled, modular plates of N-Steel, followed by a composite layer to deal with projected energy and finally a ballistic gel layer plus a flame proof fiber weave. A roll up exit door is used in the Lohengrin, and when closed, is lightly shielded from the inside in an attempt to enhance it's protective rating.
==== Weapons Systems ====
The APC is armed with two PPA-PA V-Mod Heavy Machine Guns, which have most of it's components on the inside of the vehicle. A single green mono-eye acts as night time, infrared and visible spectrum sensor for the guns. They are staggered, and so may both fire forward at once. If the optics become inoperable, the user may open up the hatch and unfold the gun shields for manual use.
==== Computers and Electronics ====
The vehicle uses four linked computer systems, each of which may be removed and carried like a suitcase. Together, they process information coming in from allied units and the vehicle's sensors, assist in operating the weapons and recoil buffers, as well as keeping an eye on passenger and vehicle status. There are a total of four 'Monoeye' style sensors, with one on each weapon system, that may slide on their rail. They contain thermal, night and optical sensors. If the primary Monoeye unit fails, the driver may extend a periscope.
==== Emergency Systems ====
The primary reactor is designed to explode and vent outwards in the event of a major breach or failure. It can also be removed and swapped as well. A fire suppression system utilizing a halon based gas is used to put out fires.
==== Propulsion ====
The vehicle uses six anti gravity hubs for basic movement. Though easily damaged concentrated small arms fire, they can be popped out and replaced easily. The craft also has thrusters for maneuvering and rapid movement. These too may be removed and replaced as needed.
==== Power Source ====
An MF-7 Mr. Fusion module is used as the primary source of power. It too is easily removed and swapped, placed at the top of the vehicle. Contrary to it's appearance, it is located outside the vehicle in comparison to the other components. It will direct it's energy outwards and away from the body in the case of a major breach.
==== Extra ====
The Lohengrin may also double as a troop ferry during boarding actions, as it is fully sealed and capable of movement through the vacuum of space. The APC will move through the hanger magcon fields (provided hanger doors are open) of the ship or construct in question after point defense weapons are neutralized, then dropping off it's contents. From there, the unit is to move deeper into the hanger as to provide fire support and prevent clogging the entrance if it were destroyed, keeping the way clear for later ferries.
The anti-gravity plates may also inverse their function and latch onto the hull of a ship, allowing troops to evacuate the transport and infiltrate through maintenance hatches on the outer hull of the ship or station.
