"When you live in the past, (with it's mistakes and regrets) It is hard, for I AM not there. My name is not, I WAS!
When you live in the future, (with it's problems, worries and fears) It is hard, for I AM not there. My name is not I WILL BE!
When you live in this moment, (the Present, now nothing is NEEDED) It is not hard, for I AM HERE. My Name Is, ( was and always will be) I AM!

This is a good poem. However, I am not sure if I agree that God is not in the past or future. He is not bound by time nor space; therefore it is possible that He could be in the past, present, and future simultaneously. On the other hand, what purpose would He serve in the instance of being present in the past or future? The past is unchangeable, and nobody knows what the future holds except for God. Comments? Questions?

I believe this is not talking about the time of God. It is talking about if a person lives in the past or set the sight of the future.

Thistle_Whistle I believe this is not talking about the time of God. It is talking about if a person lives in the past or set the sight of the future. Ah, but I interpreted as God saying to such a person that He is not with him/her if (s)he lives in the past or is anxious (or ambitious) about the future. Basically, it came to me as God being absent in either the past or future. I'm just saying that I think He is there, or at least could be there.
