Hobbies:Fretting - Lowel worries all the time. Half of his worries are everyday possibilities. The other half are worries about Dan and Mags leading everyone to their untimely deaths by heroism.
Making Lists - Lowel has a tendency to make a list before tackling large issues. There's usually no need for one, but it's practically a compulsion at this point. Plus, he gets to shove it in other peoples faces to point out just what went wrong with whatever it is he's trying to help someone fix. People make so many mistakes!
Sewing - If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself, or at least that's what Lowel thinks about sewing. Lowel has been teaching himself how to create his own clothing. The results so far are not promising, but he's yet to give up. In the meantime, he's good for mending and tailoring, provided you don't mind an amateur job. He's got some needles, thread, and a perfectionist attitude ready to go.
Virtues: Rational - Lowel is grounded in reality. Lowel knows it is simply not possible to leap the grand canyon, no matter how much you believe in yourself. If only certain people listened to Lowel, they wouldn't be running off trying to play superhero all the time
sad and making Lowel hyperventilate into a paper bag from the stress. But he's definitely the kind who assesses the danger in a situation.
Let's Do Lunch - Lowel loves to be noticed and flattered. And the only way to be noticed is to go get peoples' attention however possible. And if that means enduring some boring conversation about the other person's new puppy or sick aunt, he'll endure it. He'll even try to look interested! Because he's awesome, remember? Lowel can seem very nearly like a human being when involved in a social situation, but at the very least, he does try talking to people.
Dot the Is, Cross the Ts - Lowel is a micro-manager, and gets right down to the details. He thinks ahead and picks apart. As part of his delusional perfection, he checks things thoroughly and makes sure to pinpoint the little useless or problematic parts of a plan. One missed detail could lead to a huge horrible UGLY problem later on! And Lowel doesn't tolerate imperfection if he can help others to avoid it. You see, he's quite perfect himself, it's everyone else who needs his help.
Flaws: Conceited - Lowel thinks he is awesome. Like, better than everyone else around him, always. In his mind he is a beacon of beauty, logic, and perfection in a world of boring, ugly, sad people. And the best way to make use of this perfect status is to flaunt it in everyone's faces, showing them what they could be if only they listened to him. He'll be the one going "I TOLD YOU SO" and "YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED ME FIRST", and he'll be the one who shifts the blame when it is his fault. Don't expect a whole lot of responsibility out of him, just excuses and finger-pointing.
Beauty is Skin Deep - Then again, there's one situation Lowel can't last a minute in, and that's a fight. Lowel places beauty before personality. He'd rather hang out with people as vain as he is than suffer the horrors of unattractive company. And if you are ugly, he'll be sure to let you know. Often. Usually with some gasping or gaping as accompaniment to his finger-pointing. He's shallow as hell about looks, and doesn't pretend like he isn't. He'll hate to get injured, hate for his team to get injured. Hell, he'll hate to dirty his pretty white fuku. Lowel's going to be hell to get to actually fight, and he's a close-range fighter!
High-Maintenance - ... and at the same time, even the smallest details can preoccupy and aggravate him, leading him to make mistakes himself. Even a successful attack can be criticized by Lowel, if some little thing is off that bothers him. He's very demanding about getting small things fixed by others (whose fault all these imperfections are in the first place), and isn't satisfied with anything less than EXACTLY HOW HE WANTS IT TO BE. Lowel can't taste enough soy in his soy latte - make it again! No, you put too much in this time - give it another go! Above all, YOU DO IT. He's not one for menial work.
High Anxiety - Midas is extremely high-strung, stick-up-the-a**, and serious business. He does not kick back, relax, or let things go. Even if it is a small problem, it is a PROBLEM, it has to be FIXED, and WHY IS NO ONE ELSE TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY?? When he gets really nervous and worked up, he starts hyperventilating. To the point of getting sick. Meaning he probably needs one of those airsickness paper bags on hand to breathe into more than a few times.
