Rikku giggled as she bounded between trees kicking the fallen leaves everywhere, Fall was her favorite time of the year, there was so much to do, so many brightly colored leave sin hues of red, gold, green, and brown to blow up into the air and send lying as she played. She shook her head and without a care dropped to the ground and started rolling in a fairly large pile of leaves. Her bright laughter filled the air around her, only making her want to play more. For now at least her problems were long forgotten, pushed to the back of her head to allow the full childish-ness of the clothed mare to burst fourth. Leaping back to her hooves Rikku looked around, bright teal eyes glittering as she took in her world filled with the bright colors of fall. "So much playing to do, and yet so little time! Must not waste a second!!"With a whinny and a momentary rear she took off at a fast lope, weaving between trees and leaping fallen logs.

The laughter drifted to him in the wind, and he was drawn by the pure joy in the ringing tone. Ears perked, Adelis sped across the air, skimming the treeline. Some of the leaves matched his own colours, and some were still green. Glancing, he saw a flash of colour as he circled above the treeline, catching sight of a young mare as she practically threw herself to her hooves.
Her words were muffled, but even as high as he was, he could see the smile and faint glitter of eyes. Adelis perked his ears as she reared and veered higher into the sky, watching her take off at a lope through the trees.
Inspired and feeling energetic from her good mood, Adelis skimmed along after her, only descending as she reached a clearing, his hooves touching down with muffled thuds, matching his pace to her own with a toss of his head to send his feathered mane flying. Chances are he would have been noticed--his landing wasn't quiet, but a thundering beat of sound...but...just in case, he put on a burst of speed to pull even and then slightly ahead of her before abruptly skidding to a stop with a laugh of his own, bits of sod flying everywhere. He spread his wings, stretching them, before he folded them back to his side, but he didn't stay still. Oh no, he danced around, back and forth, sideways, as he smothered his laughter.
"Well hello~"

Rikku could have sworn she heard a thud behind her, and started to look, when the golden blur passed by. She blinked and almost squealed as she set her hooves into the dirt and tried to screech her body to a halt. Kicking up the soft dirt behind her she finally stopped in front of him and blinked bright teal eyes as she stared up at him. She was dumbfounded for a moment, mouth hanging slightly open as she stared, he had such a beautiful coat, the colors of sunrise or sunset, either worked perfectly.
She blinked again and finally snapped her mouth closed and giggled "H-Hi!!" She joined in his dance, hoping back and forth and all over the place giggling more.
Her hooves barely seemed to touch the ground and she hoped back and forth and pranced side ways, in a circle, backwards, and forward. Well heck, in any direction she could figure out how to dance.
Her braids performed their own little number, and her scarf swirled around her legs as she continued her dance "beautiful day for playing isn't it!" She grinned wider, teal eyes sparkling like jewels in the sunlight.

He couldn't help it, he had to laugh at her stunned, gaping expression. So he did, but he muffled it just a few seconds afterwards, though the mirth would not die in his orchid eyes. He was pleasantly surprised when she started to copy his movements before seeming to find a beat of her own. Pausing briefly, he smiled, nodding to her question.
"I believe any day is a splendid day for play." And that was the simple truth. He wasn't ashamed to admit that he enjoyed to play...in fact, he had several friends that still were foals, but then...he had a soft spot for foals. It wasn't too long ago he was one himself.
He tilted his head as her fluttering scarf caught his eye again, stepping closer and stretching out as if he wanted to touch it, before pulling back slightly. Not disturbed in the least by his own curiosity, but a bit apprehensive she might not like such forwardness, he ruffled his wings before deciding to divert her attention. "...may I know your name? Mine is Adelis, before my manners manage to slip~ Do you intend to play the afternoon away, and would you like company if that is your plan?"

Rikku flushed slightly at being caught staring and her dancing paused as she tossed her mane trying to hide it for a moment. When upon hearing his own light laughter she couldn't help but start to giggle herself. Long braided tail flicked behind her as her dance picked up again.
"That's great!" she tossed her head again. "Far to many other Soquili give me funny looks when I ask if they want to play." she pouted for a second then bucked playful "they are just silly though!" She paused for a moment again as he started to reach out with his muzzle towards the scarf she wore. With a tiny giggle the mare hopped making the fabric flutter out and brush against his cheek for a second.
"That's a nice name, Adelis.." she seemed to cosnider the name for a moment her head cocking to the side. "My name is Rikku" she grinned a silly grin at him. "I would love company! I don't get much of it really, others think I'm just stupid or too energetic for them." She shrugged her shoulders.
