(Feel free to come in and join in. The party is being hosted in Faidrae's yard, and everybody is welcome. )
As more fluffy snow flakes drifted lazily towards the ground Faidrae put the finishing touched on one of the refreshment tables. It was covered with all sorts of yummy winter themed goodies, from apple cider, to gingerbread to Christmas oranges. Everything was under a white plastic tent, all hung with blue and white ribbons and streamers. She smiled happily, standing back to admire her work. Meanwhile, her three children were out in the snow, enjoying themselves.
Lloyd grinned as he made another snow ball and threw it for Noishe. The large dog-like creature bounded after it in the yard, skidding to a sudden halt, and trying to find it to no avail. Lloyd burst into laughter and began rolling another ball.
Maemi sat in the snow, drawing detailed patterns around her with her long, willowy fingers. In the snow her silvery skin too on a strange, ethereal shine. Up unitl this point, Miralle was no where to be seen ...

Aqua had been skipping and jumping around in the snow, in a white t-shirt and dark navy blue capris with a simple light blue scarf round her neck and fingerless white gloves adorning her hands and arms, when she saw the little black haird tea demon. "Maaaaeeeemmmiiiiii!" She shouted, grinning broadly and rolling over in the snow, gigging as her hair got covered in little white flakes.
Sere glowered, her face barely visible under her rosy red parka, with dark red mittens covering her hands which were unceremoniously shoved under her arms for warmth. She glared at her sister, even more so at the other demon, stomping after Aqua in black uggs.

Maemi looked up with a shy little smile and waved at Aqua. She then looked back at her snow drawings and drew one more little squiggle. Suddenly there was aflash of pinkish light surrounding the little demon, but it lasted only a split second and it then was gone. Maemi giggled gleefully to herself, and whiped allthe squiggles out of the snow with her hands.
She then stodd up, readjusted her pink coat and walked over to Aqua, who was rolling in the snow.
Hi ... " She said, in her shy little voice.
Faidrae made a brave attempt at ignoring her demon daughter's lastest spell. Recently, the young girl had become deeply interested in the occult, she seemed to take every possible oportuniy to demonstrate her skills. She would even sits for hours on end, entraced, in a meditavive state ...
The back door of the house opened, and Miralle stepped out. This was one of the few times she'd been outside since the ... event ... The preteen had been struck by lightning, causing her to age. She was now very self conious of her new shape, and the fact she was now much older than her brother and sister.
She stepped down into the snow, and pulled her black faux-fur edged coat closer around her. She noticed Aque, but avoided making eye contact. Not so long ago Aque had been the older of the two girls, but now that had all changed.

Aqua giggled, grinning at Maemi. "Got any tea with yah this time? And whazzat? The flashy thinger dinger." She waved her hands, wiggling her fingers to indicate the flash of pink. When she heard the door open, she turned, grinning broadly at Miralle. "Hey! You're older'n me now! Just like 'Vani!" She laughed, hopping over and pulling Maemi with. She poked Miralle's tail, grinning. "I still want a tail though, like a real one. I can get one if I shift'n all, but that's not the same." She shrugged.
Sere glared at the other elemental as she came out, and tapped her foot in the snow, wanting to sit down but not wanting to get a frozen behind. Great, it's the living lightning rod... She thought, glowering still.

Crunch crunch crunch.
The halfbreed stared down at the snow, watching his his combat boots made footprints in it. He blew out extra heavily when he breathed, since he could see his breath now and that warm steam it made felt kinda good sometimes.. Especially because right now his nose was burning cold. He'd already been out for... Hours, just out walking around in the snow. He'd been quite happy on his own, but Ajani had forced him to go to some party... Spiro didn't even know the people who were hosting it... He entered the yard quietly, mismatched gaze drifting over the area. He wished he could have brought that girl... But she wouldn't have wanted to come. He just wanted company... He relaxed slightly as he spotted Lloyd, and then Aqua and Sere. Atleast there were people here he knew! Even if he'd only seen Sere briefly that one time... Oh well..
He headed off in Lloyd's direction. "Hey..." He tossed out a quiet greeting.

miralle rubbed her arm and laughed, flicking her 'tail' back and forth. " Wel, mine isn't really a tail, I don't think ... " She took a hold of the electric plug attached on the cord to her bottom. " But then again, maybe it is. " She shot a glance at Maemi, who had whipd all of her little drawings out of the snow by now. " Mae, you have to be careful with that. And you know Mom's not to excited by the prospect, either. "
" I know ... I know ... And sorry Aqua, I don't have any tea this time. But Mommy did make yummy apple cider ! Would you like some ? " The polite little demoness was on her feet, and ready to cater to her guest at a moments notice.
Lloyd grinned a Sprio and waved. " Hey ! " He remembered the boy from the center, as well as the baby shower. Noishe bounded over to him, and jumpped up, placing his large paws on the boys shoulders, and began licking him. " Noishe ! Off ! He doesn't want to be licked ! Noishe ! "
Lloyd ran over, and tried to hall the large dog ... thing off of the other boy.

Aqua giggled at Maemi's sudden politeness, laughing and nodding. "Sure! An' it's still more of a tail'n I've got!" She laughed, twirling, her hair fluffing out in the long braids her mother had put them into.

Maemi rushed off to get the cider, leaving Mirale standing there, looking rather uncomfortable.
" So ... How, uh, are you ? " Miralle scuffed a few marks int he snow with her boot before returning her gaze to Aqua.
Faidrae watched her children closely, especially Maemi. The young girl had been acting rather oddly of late, and she was rather determined to find out why.

She giggled, grinning. "I'm good, been just hangin' round the house. I almost never see any of the other 'mentals!(Elementals) I think you, Mamela'n Avani're the only ones I've met. Aren't there two more or somethin'?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.

The boy started but didn't have either of the reactions a normal kid would have when a big... Erm... Dog jumped up on them. He did not laugh, and he did not freak out. He just stood completely still for a moment, somewhat in shock, and then after awhile he lifted a hand and petted Noishe lightly. He looked to Lloyd, "It's... Alright..." Although Spiro did flinch slightly. Having something so big jumped up on him made him slightly nervous. He took a step back, which helped get the dog off of him, and then wiped a hand at his face slightly.

" I can't even remember meeting Avani ... What's she ? I guess there really should be more of us " ,she grined impishly, " but maybe Miss Arafel couldn't handle that many of us. " Little lightning bolts flickered around her hands, demonstrating her point.
Maemi returned at as brisk of apace as she could manage, carrying three steaming cups of cider. She offered one to Aqua first, and then to Miralle. " There you go. Mom says it's really good. And it smells really nice, too. "
" Noishe ! Here, now ! " Lloyd shouted at the beast. Noishe bounded over to him, sitting happily at his feet, staring adoringly at his master. " Uh, sorry 'bout that. Mom says I have to train him, and I guess I do ... "

She giggled, laughing and twirling on one foot. "Course there should be!" She laughed still, grinning broadly. "Mebbe. An' Avani's earth, she's got lotsa vines, an' green hair! The doll mum made of her looks like a potatoe!" She said with another laugh, kneeling on the balls of her feet and letting a ball of water form in one hand, grinning as it slowly shifted to ice in the cold air. WHen Maemi came back out, she smiled and took the cup. "Thankies!" She sniffed it first, peering at it with one eye half shut, giggling as the steam rose up. "I'm not burnin' m'tongue this time!" She said defiantly, trying not to fall over from standing on her toes.
