Name: Nathan Scholz

Nicknames: none

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Fav. Food: although not a picky person by any means, he does tend to prefer simple home-made dishes, such as roasted potatoes or meatloaf.

Hated Food: those containing high concentrates of sugar and/or sugary syrups. if there was any candy he'd eat, it'd be dark, bitter chocolate bites.

Gift: Musicality. Having been raised by a classical composer father and a mother with a voice compared to famous opera singers, it's no surprise that Nathan had followed their proverbial footsteps. While he can't compose music or sing a simple scale to save his life, he more than makes up for it by his quick understanding of instruments, particularly the piano. He learned to play the piano at a very young age, as most master pianists tend to do, and from there grew his immense love for classical music (particularly German romantic-period pieces); with the help of his parents, of course. Besides the piano, he can play the violin and just about any other stringed instrument if given a little time to play and practice.

Virtues:

Studious-- When he wants to, Nathan can really put a lot of effort and care into anything he does or particularly wants to know about. It's not odd to find him lounging by a window nook in a library with his nose firmly inside a non-fictional book, usually reading up on European History and its impact on musical trends.

Courteous-- Nathan was brought up prim and proper by his parents, and it shows. He goes out of his way to prevent any dramatic confrontation, he doesn't indulge in frivolous school rumors like some peers do, and he's well-versed in "please's" and "thank you's".

Sensible-- Well-balanced, realistic, and practical. Nathan doesn't indulge in any flights of fancy, and while that may be considered a flaw to some, he is rather prideful of it. Why would anyone waste their time day-dreaming of the impossible when they can be doing the very real and very possible?

Flaws:

Conservative-- Much like the music he prefers, his conceptions lie strictly in the traditional perspective. He's not very comfortable with rampant change or rebellion, and is much more content following the same ideals that his father, and his father's father believed in. After all, it's worked for them all those years, why wouldn't it work now?

Apathetic-- Aside from the few things Nathan does cares about (such as music, family, and history), there's very little that will peek his attention or ambition. Sure, he'll politely listen to your conversation about how unfair it was that Stacy over there bullied you and stole your lunch in the cafeteria, but will he do anything about it, or care? Absolutely out of the question.

Pompous-- He has the best family, he goes to the best school, he is a promising amateur pianist bent on becoming the best that ever was. What do you do? Oh right, that.
