Damnit. The fight from Pegasus and Flora had taken it's toll. She was too injured to fight. But she couldn't go home or back to her dorm room. These injuries would be too questionable. Unless she said she got into a gang fight. She would get in a lot more troule for breaking curfew and getting into a gang fight. Might as well go back tomorrow and be punished for one offense rather than two.

"Goddamnit. Who knew Flora and Pegasus were so strong?" She muttered to herself, sitting against the base of a tree. Her black kimono was shredded in places and she could barely stand. She hurt all over. She sure as hell didn't have any bandages at the dorm. Maybe she could sneak home and get some. But that was so far away. She flinched and grimaced as an especially sore spot hit against the tree, Serandite's hand clutched against her side.

Too many scrapes and bruises for Serandite's taste, honestly.

His day hadn't really been that productive, when Pasha thought about it. A little bit of schoolwork had been completed, sure, but that hardly counted. To remedy this, he'd decided to walk to the bead store downtown. Audrey noted its existence to him as they passed it a few days ago, and he needed something for her birthday present anyway - totally justifiable.

The beads he bought were nice, and perhaps a little too distracting. He spent too much time marveling each little glass sphere and not enough attention to where he was going, and had found himself lost. Extremely lost.

Maybe it would have been a smart idea to consult Google Maps before leaving...

He probably would never have noticed that someone was nearby, had he not been holding his breath, worried over which direction to turn. But there was definitely someone there. And it definitely required his investigation.

"Hello?" His voice only quivered a little. Holding the bag of beads close, as if they'd magically protect him, he listened carefully in case he heard something again.

Oh s**t. Someone was here. Serandite panicked, knowing that if this person called the police, there would be no way in hell she could stand a chance now. She tried to stand up, staggering as she did so, clutching her side.

What she hadn't expected was the branch in the ground in front of her. Serandite wasn't prone to vulgar swearing but a string of curses slipped out as an especially sensitive spot landed sorely on the ground.

"Shitshitshit!" She whispered, perhaps a little too loudly, as she tried sidestep and take cover in the dark shadow of a tree. Her breathing was far too rapid from nervousness and fatigue to be silenced.

He certainly did hear something. And they were extremely naughty words. Pasha felt some comfort in knowing that it was (probably) at least human, and stopped holding the bag of beads to his chest like a lifeline.

The smart thing to do would have been to walk away at that point, but he was pretty sure he could hear someone breathing really fast. He learned in the First Aid portion of P.E. that breathing fast meant that things were definitely not normal. Curiosity told him that he should continue checking this out.

He likely would have overlooked her if she were wearing slightly darker colors - instead, the kimono's contrast caught his eye. It was a girl? He offered her a smile as he moved closer.

"Hi? It's okay, I'm not scary, I don't think. Did you fall down?"

He was so innocent. Heck, if Serandite had felt up to stealing starseeds, she might have felt an ounce of shame to even consider stealing a starseed from this curious girl. (or at least, she thought this person was a girl.)

She didn't return the smile. In fact, she frowned in return, moreso because of the pain than the annoyance of someone seeing her. "It was a little more than a fall, I suppose you could say. A fight, actually." Serandite replied dryly. She had already been sighted-- Why hide it? "You're not scary at all. In fact, I think you're the farthest thing from the definition of scary." She let herself fall slowly back down against the tree. This kid wasn't dangerous.. as long as he didn't call the police. But she didnt have time for him.

"Go away. I don't need to add a curious civilian to my list of crap for tonight." She stated, shooing him away with a gesture of her hand.

She was not being nice at all! Pasha reasoned that it was surely just because she was so hurt. He probably wouldn't be okay either if he'd gotten in a fight that made him that uncomfortable. Fighting with people at all made him a little sad. Usually it was with someone he cared about, and he didn't like to lose friends.

"How come you got in a fight? Were your friends being mean to you?" At least she didn't think he was scary, which he supposed was a good thing, despite how venomous her tone had been when she said it.

Maybe she was too injured to think clearly; he neglected to absorb anything about being a curious civilian, and failed to catch the standoffish air. Instead of backing off as she'd requested, he fished in his messenger bag for a little container. He opened it to show her the contents: rainbow band-aids of various sizes.

"You can use some of these, if you wanna."

"I guess you could call the fight mutual. Both of us were mean to each other. I wouldnt call them friends though. More like enemies. " No point in saying she started it after all. How innocent was this boy? Serandite had to remind herself not to talk too much. Ah, she was far too talkative for her own good.

She curiously looked at the container he offered, hands clapping together as she looked over them eagerly. Rainbow band-aids-- How adorable! Her previously annoyed expression lit up with a bright smile before realizing-- She was a negaverse. Charonite might yell at her for having rainbow band-aids. But nobody was around.. She could take a couple. On second thought, Charonite might not even care. GO FOR IT.

"Oh gosh-- These are too cute!" She said, a pained expression as she tried to select the three best sizes. "I'll take these, thanks!" She said cheerfully, selecting three. She didnt hide the fact that she loved these band-aids. She looked up as if to confirm if taking that much was okay, holding up three different sizes. She wanted to use two of them and tuck the other away for safe-keeping. After all, a rainbow band air was certainly worthy enough to add to her cute collection.

Enemies. He knew the word, of course, but Pasha had such a hard time with the concept. Optimism always overtook him in a way that made him believe that everyone could go for a smile every now and then, regardless of their pasts or wrongdoings. It made him feel a little sad that this girl had enemies that disliked her enough to hurt her so badly.

"I'm sorry - maybe they'll stop one day, and that way you won't have to fight back!" The concept was perfectly logical to him, oblivious as he was. He smiled as she took the band-aids, glad that her mood seemed at least a little better.

"Glad you like them," he said with a laugh, nodding in confirmation at the ones she'd chosen. "They're way better than the boring skin-color ones. Those just blend in, and they don't magically make anything better at all." The container was placed safely back into his bag for the next accident, and he tilted his head to the side, curiously inspecting her. She looked like she could use more than a band-aid.

"Maybe you need help getting home? I'm kinda a little lost myself, but I um. If you know the way, I can walk with you?"

"Heh. if they stopped, that would make it a lot easier." Serandite said darkly, the thought of all the senshis on the ground.. Well. it was something that would happen eventually. After all, Negaverse would win. The good side didn't always win.

She put a band aid on her arm and one on her cheek that had been grazed, patting them happily. Rainbow, rainbow, rainbow~ "That's true." She agreed, nodding her head. "And the skin-colored ones clash with most clothes. Might as well pick one that matches your clothes." She added her point in, flicking her hair as she often did. Except this caused her to lift her arm and realized her pain a little too late.

She realized he was examining her but that didn't matter. She could take care of herself at home.. or at the school infirmary. That was free. And she could make up an excuse. But going to school all beat up wasn't that appealing either. She put her arm back down to her side slowly and gingerly, trying toi avoid the pain that accompanied any movement.

"Sure. In exchange for these awesome band-aids, I'll take you home. What area do you live in?" Serandite stood up, contemplating transforming back into her regular form. But.. yeah. it was safer staying in this form. She could transform back when she was near the dorms.

"I know most of the areas around here pretty well anyways. Honestly, girls shouldn't stay out at night though. I'm warning you, you might not want to come around this area again. " Serandite knew this area well from her patrolling.. and she didn't want to have to take this girl's starseed. (Still under impression he is a girl)

Pasha watched as she put on the band-aids, admiring how they complimented her outfit with added adorable. It was a cute outfit by itself, too! He smiled as she patted the band-aids, hoping that they were really helping.

"And even if they don't match, the rainbow is still really pretty!" he added. The pretty things were important. As she stood up, he watched her, a touch of worry in his expression. It seemed kind of selfish to ask her to show him the way home when she'd been hurt so badly, but she had offered. And he didn't want her to get unhappy again, so maybe he'd just keep his mouth shut for now.

Regardless, he offered his arm; she could use it for support if she wanted to, or just to walk arm-in-arm with him. He liked walking that way, because it just seemed so cheerful. Adding in some skipping was usually nice too, but he didn't want her to do that. It would probably hurt even worse.

"Well, um. I'm not really sure. I just moved here, and I don't know all of the names yet...but I can get home from the park! Are we maybe close to the park?" He sure hoped so, for the sake of her health. "Is this area bad? I don't think I've ever been here, but it doesn't look so bad..."

If Serandite had been in top condition, she wouldn't have considered taking his arm. But it also wasn't bad to lean on someone once in awhile. She took the other's arm to walk arm-in-arm with him, silently grateful for the help. This would be the last time she allowed a civilian to help her though. First that Alexander kid and now this kid. She didnt even know his name. But a negaverse was supposed to be evil. They weren't supposed to accept help from anyone.

"Yeah, we're close to the park. Good thing you didn't walk much farther ... uh.. ?" She didn't know what to call him, the awkward pause was left behind as she answered his other question.

"It's not about what it looks like. It's about who frequents this area. I've heard rumors of fighing.. and some people have ended up never coming back. I wouldn't want a really nice person like you.. uh.. never coming back. You see?" Serandite tried to explain with the knowledge of a civilian, trying not to let herself slip up anymore than she could have. "As long as you stay away from this area, you should be fine." She tried to warn him, hoping he would take the warning to heart.

But she would be out of commission for a little while. Since she needed time to heal.

"I'm sorry! Sometimes I don't think about things I should. Like telling you my name - it's Pasha, by the way. At least, that's my nickname. If you don't want to call me that, Pavel is fine." As they walked, he desperately searched through the darkness, trying to find something that looked familiar: a street sign, an interesting landmark, anything. Nothing so far, but she said they were close to the park, so maybe something soon.

"Oh, no!" He seemed genuinely worried after her explanation. Obviously, he was going to need to pay more attention to the news - how sad. "It's really nice of you to tell me that. I'll try to remember not to be here anymore, if I ever...remember where we are." Generally that helped. "But you have to stay away, too! So the bad people who come around here won't see either of us. We can just promise one another."

She might have been an essential total stranger, but he felt like the promise might hold at least a little bit of weight. It did have to do with the safety of both of them, after all, and he didn't see any harm in ensuring that.

"Pasha's fine. Pavel's cool too! My name's .. Serandite." She had almost slipped, giving him her real identity's name but it didn't feel right giving him her negaverse name either. Considering she was in negaverse form.. it was suitable but it didn't feel quite right. But hey, they might never see each other again after this, right?

"We're in the western park area. Try to keep that in mind." She informed him, her other hand clenched nervously in a fist, out of the other's view. He was asking her to make a promise? Wow, that would bother her conscience like hell. Serandite was flippant and not always serious but she did have a strict moral of honor she stuck to. One of those honor codes were to stick to the promises she made. Even though she rarely made any promises to follow in the first place. But.. he was concerned about her. And it would be rude to refuse. Besides, the promise didn't apply to her. Serandite's a bad guy after all. Or depending on the point of view, she was a good guy.

And she could stay away for a little while, right? "I-I suppose I can. (for a little while, though I'm not telling him that.)" She tried to say cheerfully, a fake smile on her face. But that did ensure that he wouldn't come back here again. That was good.

"We're getting closer to the park. See that the clocktower in the distance?" She pointed out, knowing he would be safe if he walked from there. Since she knew of no other negaverse patrol in this area.

( we should have them battle one day! Considering all the suspicious stuff she told him might make sense that she's a negaverse after his awakening? xD IF YOU'RE UP TO IT<3 )

The name compliment made Pasha feel pretty good about himself - rarely did people say nice things about his name, let alone calling it cool. "Serandite? That's super nifty! I've never ever heard that name before. You must feel really unique." He smiled widely at her, a clear sign that if she didn't, she undeniably should.

"Western park. Okay." He'd heard somewhere (maybe school) that repeating something made it easier to remember. It did the trick most of the time - his thoughts moved a million miles a minute, but he only spoke the things that were important...to him, at least.

"Good! Now we can know one another is safe. And you won't have to get any more rainbow band-aids, or the ucky skin-colored kind. It's best that way," he said with a nod. Squinting, he did manage to make out the clock tower in the distance, choosing only to make a mental note of this landmark without speaking it aloud. "Thanks for walking with me all this way, Serandite! That was really nice of you to get me un-lost. I think maybe I know where I am now, so I can go home, unless you need me to go with you back to your house." Very tentatively, he stepped aside, breaking their two-person chain and resuming his worried expression.

That was the first time someone had said her name was unique. She couldnt help but return the wide smile, giving him a thumbs-up. She nodded, pushing aside the guilt that seemed to stab at her. There had to be limits for innocence, sheesh. Apparently not with this girl.

It was sweet how this girl worried about her. At least, there were still people like that in this world. Serandite almost envied Pasha, knowing she had lost that innocence a long time ago. But it was certainly refreshing to see it again. Too many people were wrapped up in their own fears and their own worlds now.

"No problem." She couldnt help but giggle at his 'un-lost' word. This kid sure did have a funny vocabulary. Definitely on the cool side though. "Nah. I can head home by myself. Just make sure you don't get lost again, okay?" Serandite felt sturdy enough without support now, waving cheerfully as she ran off the path, intending to head back to Crystal Academy dorms.

A sentence could be heard in the distance as she suddenly seemed to remember something, pausing to yell it back before she finally disappeared.

"THANKS FOR THE RAINBOW BANDAIDSSSSSS!"
