Naolin finally found himself with time and enough information to actually talk on the phone, and so he quickly pulled up the angel's information on his cell and hit send. Stuffing it in between his shoulder and ear, the youth continued to search through his guardian's house for not only her shotgun, but any other weapon he could find.

"Aylana," he started out, climbing the stairs two at a time. "What the hell is going on?!" It was all he could really muster at the moment.

Nao ran a hand over his face. "You told me to call you." He explained, as if that made his attitude excusable. "I'm at my guardian's estate. There's blood all over the living room. Her daughter tells me she just up and started screaming and going crazy." There was a pause, where he took a deep breath. "I can't tell if the bond is still there... It might be, or it might not be."

"No," he said slowly. "I'm not fading... Not that I can tell." There was another pause. "How long does it take to start fading...?" He asked in a more quiet voice, the thought that he might not know if he were disappearing from this world again struck a vein of fear within him.

"Well... I'll deal with that if it happens," he finally said, eyes busy scanning his guardian's room for the shotgun. "Enough about me... How has this all affected you?"

Naolin stopped, warily sitting on the very edge of the bed, as if simply sitting on it would give him the proverbial cooties. "Chaos... He's just doing what comes natural to him, what is right... To him. If we hadn't been brought back to life in the first place by Airi, then the balance wouldn't have been thrown off..."

There was a long pause that indicated internal debating. "My anger is with her. She is the one acting unnatural, I think."

This made him laugh, but it was a cruel noise. "She bleeds herself dry to bring us into being. Brings us into the world as helpless infants chained to a mortal being, with little to no chance of us becoming anywhere near as powerful as we once were. Sure, some of us settled for..." He faltered, remembering who he was talking to, before continuing. "Or chose to live a human life, but what about the rest of us? It's insulting and demeaning."

Again, he paused in his rant. "You understand how she's thrown off the balance, though? Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and maybe Chaos is the reaction to her meddling with powers that were dead and gone. We died or faded for a reason, and if it would have been natural for us to have second chances, then it would have just happened. Like water flowing in a river."

"Airi forced our rebirths, disrupted the flow. There were bound to be repercussions... She, not Chaos, is to blame for all this death and craziness."

Naolin, for as much as he was certain about Airi's guilt, had no idea how to go about rectifying the situation. He had dreamed of her death before, but even with that, he could not think of any sort of practical approach to it.

"I don't know," he breathed finally, shaking his head with a frustrated sigh. "That's what I assumed. I was going to go down there and check it out for myself because... Well, I don't know what else to do." It was honest, at least.
