Any of you guys read comics at all? I've been reading 'em on and off sense I was about 7 or so. Back then I mostly read superheros like every self respecting kid of the 90's, but in the past few years I've been trying a few new things. I will say that Vertigo puts out some awesome stuff.
Personal Favorites: Preacher (absolute all time favorite) Streets of Glory Just a Pilgrim (Garth Ennis is god) Y: The Last Man The Walking Dead Scalped Watchmen V for Vendetta League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Alan Moore is also godlike)
So do you guys read comics? If so what do you read, and who are your favorite writers?

I have a bunch of 80s issues of Spiderman and Captain America if that counts for anything.

Mi padre loves some ********' comics. He's got boxes and boxes of them. I think. . . 7 boxes? I went and snuck into his closet and finished about three boxes of them in one night one a bag of grapes & six Capri-suns.

Oh man not for a looonng time. My brother and I had a buttload of batmans and supermans. Those were easier to find in alaska than anything else. but when we lived in arizona we had a little bit of everything it seemed.

I've heard great things about it, including that it is a must read for any comic fan. I've been up to my balls in s**t to read though, its on my list of 'things to check out some time before I die'.

Sandmaaaaaaan. Oh my god, they are ******** amazing. I don't even read comics, but I adore them.
Neil Gaiman writes some pretty fantastic stuff. He's not a very good writer, imho, but an excellent storyteller. I have only discovered this since getting hooked on Sandman.
(Also, at an Amanda Palmer gig I was at in September, in a church, he came on stage and sang a song about laughing as someone jumped to their death from a burning building. It was awesome. Also AFP can't say awesome in an English accent, for the record.)
