In here you will find the very creation of a table top RPG of the guild. For those of you unfamiliar with tabletop rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons, this may seem oppresive, if not intimidating, overbearing, and outright complicated. And yes, it is. But there's several key rules in here.

Quote:
1- Do not, under any circumstance, edit or modify the rules that are posted in the 'guidebook' thread. Not only is this childish, but also really a major bother to everyone who's trying to play. Plus, I will always have a copy of the current rules on hand; intelligent players probably will as well, so even if it seems like we'll never know, we will.

2- The Guild rules still apply here.

3- These rules may change depending on infractions that may happen in the future.

On a side note: the guide which the guild is using is considered the "short version" of the rules. Many players handbooks are well over 200 pages long, with massive amounts of details and numerous skills, feats, and attributes to be used by players. Asking to 'summarize', is really not very simple, but don't be daunted! Even though the system may seem extremely intimidating, ask the GM of your games to help you where they can. You'll still have to do the hardest part of actually deciding how you want your character built, but they'll help tell you where things are useful, or how to spec things if you have an idea in mind. We tried to make things as short and simple to understand, but we can only do so much. Still, we remember our first time learning the ropes, and it was no easier for us than it is for you. So do take heart, and let your dreams grow!
