Well the topic of this forum is 'Do you think god/any type of superior being is real?' Now having both views are fine, but let's just get it clear here. We agree to disagree = we agree to be stubborn and not be mean to each other because of our opinions and we'll just keep it at what we think and that's it.
Well i personally have two views of this topic. View one: I ALWAYS have thought that god and all that other mumbo jumbo(not meant to offend anyone) is real. Since like it's just not proven. Like seriously? Science proves that we evolved from apes(at least they think<
View two: Maybe it is possible that god and all that other stuff is real. Since just because i don't believe it doesn't mean he/she does not exist. It's the same thing as me thinking that magic really does exist(i'll get into that in another topic). I mean we don't have to all believe in it to make it true. But that's what we don't know since everything is not discovered yet.
But anyways....i think god and all the other superior beings aren't real, but they are a necessity for those who have nothing left but hope. I feel like this is a way to keep people having a reason to live, for those who have 'nothing' left. It's like a way to tell them that everything is happening for a reason, which it really might be, and that they shouldn't give up. I feel that it is a good thing because it gives people hope and it makes them more 'happier' or have a 'clearer' or what they think is clear view on how they should act in life.
ANYWAYS.........state your opinions below ^^ i'd love to debate about this, and again, this is not meant to offend anyone.

Firstly - the Big Bang theory is not the only one there is to explain the beginning of the universe. There's gotta be at least a dozen others, all coined by the best experts in the field, and all with a logical explanation behind them, but the Big Bang theory proves to be the most popular. Perhaps explaining a giant explosion to everyone wasn't nearly as complicated as explaining dark matter, expansion and many other scientific/physic terms.
Anywho. To the point now. Personally, maybe it wasn't God that created human, but it was us humans who created God. After all, it's proven that we only see what we want to see. I don't know.
But as to the reason why God was created or why religion is there - because to live and survive we need morals. Morality is easily conveyed through religion - messages from God, stories of saints and the like. It serves to guide humans to know "good" from "bad" and to know order, although what is good and what is bad depends entirely on each person's values. Religion strives to keep these values the same, or at least similar, lest there be chaos. Now, what do we do with religion, you ask, when we have other sources to learn our values from and to keep us in line, and they do not matter as much as past times? When we finally begin to understand more about everything? They're slowly being forgotten. The people's faith dwindled. Too many inexplicable and illogical things in religions, they say. If what I've been saying holds the slightest truth, then this was the beginning of atheism and agnosticism.

First off, explaining how the Big Bang happened is easy. Our dimension and another dimension collided, sending infinite amounts of matter into our universe. Of course, this also ties into the M Theory and the Super String Theory, which I won't really get into. As for evolution, it started with the prokaryotes, which were the only things that could survive the brutal climate. These probably came from a meteor of some sort. Anyway, as the years went on other cells were added, and eukaryotes formed. Then came animals. Then came homo sapiens.
As for God, I refuse to believe in him. There is no proof of a higher being, there never WILL be proof of a higher being, So I would prefer to stop limiting my human experiences by believing in something unknowable and do whatever I can to grow as a person. Because, believe me, some of the meanest people I know go to church. And I don't want to end up like them, hating other people just for religious differences. So I am an agnostic. (I've got several other ways to fight the whole "God doesn't exist" battle, along with, if he does miraculously exist, the battle against Heaven and Hell)
