 The Valley of the End (終末の谷, Shūmatsu no Tani; English TV "Final Valley") is on the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound. It was somehow created following the foundation of Konoha, when Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha fought for control of the village. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was present for part of the battle under Madara's control. Hashirama was victorious, and Madara was believed to have died. In memory of their battle, two giant statues were built on opposite sides of the waterfall, Madara on the left (the Land of Sound side) and Hashirama on the right (the Land of Fire's side).
The statues bordering the valley.Years later, at the end of Part I, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki fought at the valley. Naruto fought to bring Sasuke back to Konoha, while Sasuke fought in an effort to kill Naruto in order to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan. The battle was a draw, neither proving successful in their goals, but only Sasuke walked away under his own power, choosing not to obtain power the way Itachi wanted. The statues of Madara and Hashirama received moderate damage during the fight.
In Part II, after Tobi was revealed to be Madara, he was seen sitting atop his own statue at various points, pondering what path Sasuke would take.

Vincent had read about this place, The Valley of the End, in various books and scrolls back at the ninja academy. It really was a very different experience when one reads about a place and then finally comes to see it with their own eyes. It truly was a sight to behold with the massive statues of the first Hokage and the founder of the Uchiha clan. It did make him sad that he didn't bring a camera but he had to remind himself that this was a mission.
The team was in a row, Vincent at the front, Daichi-sensei behind him, then the ambassador, Zin, and then Hiniko at the rear.

Daichi Lothar
Leaf Village|Sannin|Taijutsu|Lothar Clan Daichi arrived behind Vincent with the rest of the group close behind. He looked around, taking in the familiar pathway to the sound village. It was not that long ago in the grand scheme of history that an epic battle to decide the fate of the shinobi world took place here. The huge statues had experience quite a lot over the years, and had had several upkeep operations to keep them looking sharp through the test of time. Daichi moved along with the squad toward their ultimate destination, keeping an ear out for enemies.

 Zin moved with the group as he took in the scenery. It was magnificent. Two large statues of powerful shinobi stood tall on either side of the water fall; quite a scenic place and name to demostrate the many battles that occurred there. But Zin knew he needed to keep his eyes on the true prize;the Rice Country. There he could finally be closer to his father. It should be his birthright to re-claim it in the name of the Naga Clan. Hiniko was in the back and she made sure to keep an eyes out for things. She glanced around her, but saw noone. Wich was good, maybe this was going to be a simple mission. She looked up at the two statues, and it was hard not to gap at them, They had such history, and had seen so much. She had read about them, and to be honest she didn't expect to see it anytime soon. She returned her focus back on what she was doing forcfully though, she couldn't get distracted incase something did show up. She kept walking glancing at her teammates and taking in the increasing silence. She felt stiff though...like she was waiting for something to jump at them. She glanced around again.

Suou arrived at the Valley of the End and used Earth Military Movement to go underground and resurface on top of the Madara statue. He sat down, pulled out a couple scrolls that he'd had with him for quite a while, meaning to study them. He still had some training that he had to take care of. He knew very few Ninjutsu. He studied them a bit, but decided he'd train elsewhere. He wanted to be closer to home for this so he began the journey back to the mountains.

The team was passing the Valley of the End. The entrance to the Country of Rice and the location of where the Hidden Sound Village used to be. Vincent was once again glad that he had such a high collar to his cloak which did dampen the smell of sweat coming from the ambassador. Added to that was how his mind still couldn't get over the shock of what had happened in his first battle. Not only Zin loosing himself to the fight but also what Vincent had done with his own Jutsu. Not only killing a man but melting him alive and watching his skin crack like mud in the hot sun and his eye melting out of his sockets as if they were scoops of ice cream on a summer day.
It was a good thing that Vincent had a fairly strong stomach to witness that and not throw out whatever he had eaten behind a nearby rock. He had seen atrocities when his own village was ravaged but that was caused by others. This was something done with his own hands and chakra.
He kept looking back at his teammates to make sure they were there. There was Daichi-sensei still with Zin over his shoulder and Hiniko right behind him.

Daichi followed close behind the disgrace of an ambassador, and his nose still wrinkled at the smell of the man. He didn`t even bother breathing through his mouth, because it was so bad he could taste it. Daichi saw Vincent look back, but gave no inclination that they needed to stop. So, he just kept on moving with his"package", and tried to get his squad home before nightfall. Daichi made another elerctric clone, which sped off to the village to alert the hokage that they were coming back. The clone ran off at blinding speed. Already the sun tickled the horizon.

Hiniko couldn't seem to shake that horrible feeling that someone was watching them, but she couldn't figure out who. She looked around her and upon spotting noone, the feeling seemed to have just slipped away. She sighed and glanced at the sleeping Zin, still trying to keept the stench away. She couldn't wait till all of this was over. She wanted to rest for a bit and start training again. Noone had said anything since they started heading back. She could only imagine how they were taking what happened. Exspecialy Vincent... She didn't think about it anymore and kept walking.

Taiji had made his way to the valleys outskirts, searching all the way, but finding nothing. At last he gave in, he had searched, literally everywhere, and still no Aburame. He sat on the floor, and grinds his fist into the grass.
"Ugh, I feel so f*cking incompetent."
As he layed back on the floor he noticed something odd above him.
It was the chuunin guard, and boy, was he fuming.
"Awwh. man..."

Jade stood atop the water, gazing at the huge statues of her predecessors. Of course, she had come from the Uchiha Clan, a tie from Madara Uchiha. On the other hand, she was born and had been raised in Konoha, giving her a connection to Hashirama Senjuu as well. Jade shook her head, and continued on to the Sound Country, taking one last look at the area.

Kai made it to the valley of the end, it was such a famous spot and made her do a 'hmph'. "Konoha is so not that special, Iwa has great spots too! She shook her head at how popular these Uchiha were. But her mission was not to tell herself how annoying Konoha could be. Her mission was to find this damn plant! She scowered along the bottom of the great waterfall, getting more wet from the mist it created. Putting her precious long pink hair into a ponytail she pushed bushes apart from eachother and saw nothing along the little lake the waterfall created. How disappointing. "M-maybe I should visit Zin but I can do that when I take some genin to the chunin exams..." She definitly needed a nap.[3/10]
Yawning again didn't help with how much she needed a nap. "Dammit, where is this stupid plant." Kai moved to the bit of brush part of the valley End. Some plants looked like they might be it but putting the book's picture of the plant up to the other plant told her otherwise. "I should mak a basket to hold a lot of them cause I'm not doing this again!" She jumped into a tree and broke bendabl branchs of with a kunai and jumped back down to walk to the edge of the water. Weaving the branches together she tied them together with flat prairie grass and sticking mud around it to harden a good shell. My god, she looked like som survivorist off of History channel![4/10]
Finally the basket was finished and she could set it down to let the mud dry in place. Standing up she turned back to the bush area and began to go deeper, it was a bit bumpy to step around in so she had to be carefull. The west side had nothing...it disappointed her more and more. "I gotta prove I can become a jounin! I shall make it!" She laid under a tree and took a slight nap. Can't find the right plant all tired and exhausted now can you? She would probaly sleep for two hours and be good to go hunting for the plant again.[5/10]
Four hours later, Kai finally awoke from a thing falling onto her belly. It was a kitten that jumping from a treebranch. "Cute..." Never before had she seen something so cute, it sprawled it's cuteness like a powerful genjustu. Sitting up the kitten ran off back into the bushes. "Must of overnapped..." Kai rubbed the back of her hair and walked around still looking for that flower herb. It seemed impossible almost sos he went back to the little lake the waterfall made. The basket was dry and good, light too which helped.[6/10]
Looking around the area again, she jumped and climbed to the top of Madara's statue, holding the basket carefully. It was a very high place as she could scan better now up here. Her eyes narrowed, looking at the water below with a twitching eye. Moving she jumped to the ground near the head of the statue and rolled to land without hurting herself. Now this area was full of plants, herbs, and berries of all kind. "Jack pot!"[7/10]
